"I don't have time for this." I said, making myself clear and taking my seat. Benny walked over and placed his hands on my desk. I looked up and glared at his blue eyes. He looked down at me, I can sense all the angry building up inside him.
"Well you're going to make time, angel." He mocked. "Because I don't really appreciate those words that you said."
"No one calls me angel, except Dean." I growled.
"Oh, you're super perfect so-called boyfriend right?" Benny laughed. "That's why he pushed you aside and decided to walk me right?" At that point, I didn't know what came over me. I lunged at him, knocking both of us to the floor. I curled up my fingers and hit his face as hard as I could. I could hear slight screams from other students and the sounds of falling chairs.
"Cas, stop!" Sam yelled. But ignored him. I continued to hit Benny's face as my jealousy and angry bubbled up and took over my mind and body.
"DON'T TALK ABOUT MY DEAN LIKE THAT! NOBODY TALKS ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT!" I screamed. Then I felt somebody yank me off him.
"Cassie! What in the name of Christ has gotten into you?!" Gabriel tried to calm me. "Get off of the new kid!" He pulled me out of the classroom. I kicked and struggled, still trying to attack at half strength.
"I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU WITH MY BARE HANDS!" I said. Gabriel told me to shut up and calm down. Everything moved so fast I had a hard time understand what happened and what I was doing.
Hopefully I don't get suspended on the first day.
~ ~ ~
The day went by quickly. And I'm glad for it. My name and Benny's traveled over the school. I got praise over what I did, and Benny became the joke of the grade, getting beat up by a sophomore. I wasn't so small anymore, so they couldn't make fun of me for that. I stretched a bit.
I walked into Chemistry class, fixing my trenchcoat from the students tugging and patting on my coat on the way in from the hallway. I sat in the middle table of the room. They were lab tables, and two people could sit at each one. I sighed and rested my head on the edge of it.
What am I doing? Today's the first day and I already messed it up.
"Hey, is this seat taken?" I heard Dean's voice. My body froze and I felt a pain in my stomach.
"Uh, yes, they went to the restroom and they'll be right back..." I tried to change my voice. Dean sighed and sat down anyway. He grabbed the back of my trenchcoat collar and pulled me up.
"I know it's you Castiel. You can't full me." He gave me a blank look. I swallowed. "Wanna tell me something?"
I shook my head.
"Positive?"
I nodded.
"Is that so? Because rumor has it you beat up Benny first period." Dean let go of me and crossed his arms. I sighed and fixed my glasses. I looked down, fiddling with my thumbs.
"I-I don't know what came over me Dean.." I said softly.
"What in the world has Benny done to you, huh?" Dean asked.
"He said something I didn't like about you." I replied. The guilt growing on me. It ate me up so quickly that my heart slowly fell to my stomach.
"That gives you no right to punch his face twenty-seven times." Dean said, looking at me. I looked up and he looked so disappointed.
"You would have done the same thing if he said something bad about me." I justified myself. He huffed and looked away. I felt so bad now. Maybe I should apologize to Benny. But something inside me was telling me not to, and that I did the right thing.
"I don't want to hear anymore bad stories from you." Dean said softly, and a little sad. I nodded.
"No more, I promise." I assured him. He sighed softly, and wrapped an arm around me to kiss my temple. I closed my eyes and pressed against his lips, feeling all the love.
"I love you Castiel, no matter what." He whispered into my ear. I nodded, resting my head on his shoulder. I looked around, as the students slowly walked in and didn't mind our affection.
"I love you too, Dean." I replied. I thought for a second. "What are you doing in this class anyway?"
"Need the credit." Dean smiled small. I laughed a little bit. And turned so my chin rested on his shoulder. I scooted my chair closer so that I can wrap my arms around his body. He got taller, and broader. His muscles felt thicker, and started to shave more.
"My brother met Sam." I grinned, talking sweetly. Dean didn't look at me, but he smiled.
"Is that so? How did that turn out?"
"I have never seen Sam so red," I giggled. "And my brother wasn't helping at all. He was practically kissing up his arm."
"Uh-oh," Dean chuckled. "Gonna have to watch out for those two." I laughed and nodded. I turned his face so that I pecked his lips gently. He pursed his lips, returning the small kiss. I grinned once more and looked into those emerald eyes. The green eyes that I loved so dearly. The eyes I wanted to see everyday.
"I can't wait till we're older and out of school." Dean smiled as he whispered, his eyes gazing into mine.
"Why do you say that?" I whispered back, smiling back.
"Because I can't wait to marry you."
