A Tap Shows Me A Nightmare

Tim POV

We walked around the school for what seemed like forever until we finally found the guy's class room. I looked around looking for him until Maddie pointed him out. He was a tall guy standing off leaning on another guy who what looked shorter than him. The shorter one was talking to some other people while the guy Maddie liked, looked like he could less about anyone. He also gave off that bad boy feel. He wore a black V-neck, a leather bracelet, and black basketball shorts and sneakers. While everyone else wore sweats or leggings.

"What class is this?" I asked to no one in particular.

"It's a dance class dude." said a familiar voice behind us. 

I turned around to see aunt Nazz. Her hair long blond hair was in a braid as she wore a torn up T-shirt, and booty shorts with leggings. I had forgotten that she taught a dance class here, and when she asked what we were doing in the high school dressed as students, a plan popped into my head. Then I started telling aunt Nazz what was going on, and my little plan.

*Time Skip*

Same POV

"So today class, a couple of friends' kids came to watch today's lesson. I would like you to meet Madilyn, the oldest daughter of my friends Eddy, and his wife Lee. And this is Tim, son of my close friend Kevin Barr and Edward Barr." Aunt Nazz introduced us, still wearing the uniforms.

"MRS. N!!!! WHY DOES TIM'S PARENTS' NAMES SOUND LIKE THEY ARE BOTH BOYS?!?!" yelled the short guy.

"Because they ARE both male sir. My name is Tim Barr, and I'm the proud son of a homosexual couple." I replied instead.

The room fell sigh-lent for a moment. Until a older girl walked up, knelt down in front of me, and hugged me. It shocked me and when I was going to ask what the hell was going on, the other girls ran up and start pinching my cheeks, rubbing my head, and took turns hugging me. Going "awe HE IS ADORIBUL!!!" and "HE IS SO BRAVE!!!!" I started to push them away when aunt Nazz said, "Now, now ladies. He is just a kid, if you do that up you'll stretch out his face." and they stop almost instantly. Me and Maddie walked and sat on a window sill. We watched the class practice their dances, and I noticed a particular group practicing a hip hop dance and that a girl was about to fall over her herself. I quickly ran over to her and grabbed her hips to steady her, and I got many weird looks for it.

"U-um...... S-she was g-going to fall if she kept moving like she was." I tried to say as I slowly moved away.

" And you know how NOT to fall kid?" said the short boy rudely. I noticed that he kind of looked like uncle Eddy no neck and all.

"Sure I do........ "NO-NECK" and if you don't believe me then I would be happy to demonstrate." I couldn't believe that I just called him "no-neck"!! It just popped into my head, when I thought on how my dad wow call Eddy that when he saw him.

"N-n-n-NO-NECK?!?!?!?!" the guy shouted as some people started to giggle around us, and Maddie just busted out laughing. The old boy coffed and said, "Okay then brat. If you think your so good then show it."

"Okay, fine. But first I would like my lovely assistant to join me. Madam, if you please." I said, and I out stretched my hand and Maddie gladly took it.

"Oh, what are you guys going to do. Patty cake?" the short man teased.

Me and Maddie walked to the center of the large room and everyone sat along the walls so not to get in the way. I whispered something into her ear and she nodded as we smirked evilly, and looked to aunt Nazz who nodded already understanding what we were thinking. We started to play patty cake and everyone was whispering in confusion and I started to count down in my head. 3.... as we padded each other for fun and went back to the game we skillfully unbuttoned each other's shirt. 2.... Then we started to do electric slides against each other, speeding up the unbuttoning proses. 1..... We undid the last botton and started to giggle because no one but aunt Nazz noticed. 0... As we started spinning all of a sudden we noticed everyone jump, and the music started. Then like the thundering beat we started. (I'm lazy so look at the video I gave you to see what they do.)

As the song ended and we stopped. I looked around the room seeing the shocked faces. I don't even mind the fact that I danced like a girl. Until I noticed Aunt Nazz wiggling her closed phone at me, while pointing at the door. Sporting an evil grin. I looked at the door to see, Uncle Eddy, Aunt Lee, Aunt May, Uncle Ed, Mom, dad, and Plank. I blushed a really dark red.

"H-how long have you been there?" I asked.

"About when you both bit your finger." answered dad.

It's not like it's the first time they have saw me and Maddie dance. But this time was different, because one I danced like a girl. Two, Plank isn't dancing with us. Three, our shirts are open showing the tank tops underneath. And four, I really didn't want them to see. Plank was standing there stunned, and Uncle Eddy's face was red with anger. Because he didn't like his daughter dancing like that. Then mom started to speak. "Well I am not fully okay with the dance. But you both did very well." That's when Eddy broke out in a fit of rage.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU PRASEING THEM?!?! DON'T YOU GET WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?! DOUBLE D THEY WERE DANCING LIKE THEY WANTED SOMTHING THEY ARE TOO YOUNG TO EVEN KNOW ABOUT!!!!" Eddy yelled.

"Dude chill, it's just a dance." dad told him.

"Tim, why are you crying?" Ed asked.

I touched my face and noticed that tears were falling from my eyes. And that my finger tips were slightly green. I started to panic. "what's happening to me?" I mumbled to myself. "Tim?" Maddie asked as she touched, to everyone jumped as she yelled "OW!!" and jumped back holding her hand. Which was bleeding. I looked at my shoulder and see a small thorn sticking out. I threw off my shirt and looked around my self finding new thorns here and there. Plank started to walk up to me, but I just sprinted out the door, and jumped out the open window. Hearing the girls scream, "THIS IS THE THIRD FLOOR!!!" I landed in a tree and hopped to the ground and continued running.

"What's going on?! Why is this happening? This...... is a nightmare." I told myself as I slowed my pace after entering the forest. I was so afraid. I have no idea what's happening. I stopped and sat up against a big old pine tree. As I looked up at it I noticed that mine, Maddie, and Plank's name was carved into it. I chuckled at the memory. As the years past we would always run into the woods, find a tree and carve our names into it. The trees didn't mind though. As time passed more thorns appeared. And the green spread. "I guess I'm turning back into a plant. I wander what Mom and Dad will do. I bet Maddie with be lonely. But will this happen to Plank?" Plank. How he will he handle this? What happens if he stays human? Then I would alone, without the ones I love. Without a family. Without Plank. My cheeks began to burn, as I started to cry. I don't want to go. I want to stay human. I want to be with everyone. I want to stay with Plank.

"I love everyone to much to become a cactus again." I told myself.

Then suddenly I felt arms wrap around me. I open my eyes to see plank holding me. "H-how-?" I started but Plank interrupted. "The trees told me. Thank god I wasn't to late." he told me then he pulled me closer and placed his lips on mine. I rapped my thorn covered arms around him and as I closed my eyes. The tree branches surrounded us until everything was dark.

Reader POV

The tree branches wrapped around them until they were with in a wooden ball. And threw out the trees, the grass, and the soil. You could hear their hearts beats. And the wooden ball sank into the ground and the trees began to whisper loudly enough for even normal humans to hear and understand them. Speaking of when the lovers shall return.
