Tim POV

As the plants attacked the guards, I hugged plank close to me. And once again branches wrapped around me and plank. Forming a ball, and lick before a bright flash of light blinded us until everything went black. And when I came too, it was kind of dark. But there was still enough light to see. As my eyes adjusted, I looked around. Light leaked through the branches and roots. I also noticed Plank still passed out next to me, and that we were both tied up with vines.

"P-plank." I said. My throught hurt, like I hadn't had anything to drink in days. But my voice still woke him up. I reached my hand out to touch him, and the vines loosend their grip. Then moment my hand touched his, the vines whipped away. Making Plank land into my arms.

"T-Tim. Is it over? Where are we?" he questioned.

"I think it's over. But I think we are in some kind of Cage?" I answered.

"Tim, we miss you and Plank so much. Please comeback to us soon. " a familiar voice said.

I quickly looked through one of the gaps and I saw Mom and dad standing there with Maddie and uncle Jonny. Mom was in dad's arms, crying into his chest. They looked as if they haven't had much sleep, and it looks like dad's hair grew out and he hadn't shaved. Mom still looked neat and tidy, but the only thing the was different was that he wasn't wearing his hat. Jonny looked like he had been in some fights. He was bruised from head to toe, he even had deep cuts and some visible stitches. And Maddie sat there, crying her eyes out. I felt my heart squeeze tight, I didn't want to see them like this. And I wanted to hug them tight, telling them it'll be alright. I placed my hand on the branch made wall, holding Plank closer to me. And as if knowing what I wanted, the branches shifted to both sides. The sound made everyone jump and look at us through the now gaping hole. They stood there in disbelief until mom willed himself to break the silence.

"T-Tim?" he asked.

"H-hi mom. Can I have some water?" I asked half kidding.

Then next thing I knew they rushed over pulling me and Plank out of the ball, Mom and dad bear hugging me, and Jonny doing the same to the week Plank. I broke away from my parents and went to the teenager. He took my hand in his and weekly pulled me closer. Everyone went quiet and looked at us expectantly as if knowing what will happen. Then he whispered into my ear, "Lets never go back there again." which in turn made me giggle. Then he gave me a tender kiss, after staying like that for a while. We were brought to earth when my dad made a coughing noise. Right then and there I remembered that we kept everyone except Maddie in the dark about me and Plank. And as mom and dad came toward us I broke out in a nerves sweat. As he placed his hand one my shoulder mom whispered in my ear, "You guys can do that later." in which made me and Plank look at them in shock. Making mom, dad, and Jonny laugh.

"Madilyn told us about you and Plank after you both went missing, then suddenly turned up in this freaky branch ball." Dad explained.

"At first we were really surprised, and your father wanted to brake the thing open and kill Plank. It was about that moment that we found out that nothing we could do would break it open. So after that I hooked up some computers to it to make sure you both were alright. Which you were, but you both seemed to be in a comatose sleep. So we waited impatiently for almost 3 months for you to wake up." Mom added.

"Wait? 3 months?! How the hell did we live through that?" Plank asked.

He had a point in asking it. Normally the body wouldn't live this long without food or water. As I thought deeper for an answer I felt a sudden sharp pain and made both Plank and a yelp loudly. And when we both looked around, we both saw vines slither away with some blood on the ends. "Well there's your answer." Mom said, "I believe that as you both were asleep, nature kept your bodies alive by inserting water and food particles directly into you vea vines." After an hour of talking and waiting for Plank to gain his energy, we started our way home with everyone holding hands. It would be and understatement to say everyone was happy to see us. And to celebrate our return, everyone threw a party later that night. My house had music booming loudly from my house, and if everyone we knew hadn't been there, I'm sure the police would have been called on.
