my blonde hair bounced on my shoulders as I walked down the stairs of my two story's house. in the kitchen sits my brother, cyrus, and my dog, cupid. I take a seat at the counter, rubbing aggressively at me weary eyes. my brother's loud chewing irritates my sensitive ears and pulsing head.
"can you not?" i ask, more aggressively than i meant too
he continues to chew louder. "if you want to stop the throbbing in your head, maybe don't go out clubbing until four in the morning." cyrus retorts.
i'm gonna hurt this kid i swear
"shut the fuck up." i cuss. then i stumble to the pantry and pull out a spoon. bowl, and cereal. i trudge to the fridge and grab the milk and find my seat at the table.
"damn, your a fucking mess," cyrus chuckles irritably, now getting up and clearing his plate.
i hadn't noticed
"shut it." i call back at him while his figure leaves the kitchen. i pour in the cereal and milk and start eating when cupid starts barking like a fucking maniac.
"cupiddd," i groan, leaving behind my cereal to attempt to find his leash. cupid follows me waging his tail as he breaths loudly. my head pulses from my intense hangover.
eventually i find his leash. i quickly put it on him and look for my sunglasses. finally i find them a place them on my nose, i grab my phone. "im walking the dog!" i announce and shut the front door.
i walk by the sidewalk, my face on my phone. my brightness on zero. i check instagram for any updates.

after scrolling and liking random posts on instagram i got a call under "unknown caller id". i picked it up and placed the phone close to my ear. the phone disconnects. "oh." i continue to walk the dog, once i'm decently away from my house i get another call.
