Prisoner, on an island far away and untouched by time, was a girl with magical abilities far greater than anything most people had ever seen.

Her parents were nothing more than innocent farmers trying to make a living. And when her mother fell sick, while still pregnant with her, her father needed a miracle.

That's when they were visited by a man who promised to heal the girl's mother. A man who went by the name Rumplestilskin. But the couple knew of this man and his real moniker, the Dark One.

They knew he never did anything, never helped anyone, without something in return. Except on that day. For Rumplestilskin promised to help the couple for nothing in return. All he told them was that one day, their child would grow up to help him in his time of need.

All the man had to do to heal his wife was give her a potion made from a magical flower. This flower had the power to heal any wound or sickness. It could even delay the onset of old age.

But all magic comes with a price. For the flower came from an island called Neverland. And anyone who used this magic was bound to the island. To the service of someone named Peter Pan.

The man's wife was healed and when their child was born, it was a beautiful baby girl with golden blonde hair. They named her Aurelia, a name meaning the golden one.

But the family's happy ending wasn't ever after, for on the eve of her 20th birthday, Peter Pan's shadow finally made its way to their world, taking Aurelia and whisking her away to Neverland.

The only way Aurelia would ever get off the island was if Pan allowed it.

Still, Aurelia managed to keep her beauty and grace and most importantly, her kindness. Her sense of adventure and curiosity about the world she was never allowed to see was what kept her spirits high.

And decades later, when a group of people arrived on the island trying to rescue a boy Peter Pan had kidnapped it was that kindness and curiosity that led Aurelia on what would be the greatest adventure of her life.
