(Flashback Chapter - Ayato is 15, Thoma is 14, and Ayaka is 13)

Kamisato Ayaka, the Kamisato Clan's youngest child, was walking down the streets of Inazuma. She was well-known amongst the people, possibly even more well-known than her older brother, Kamisato Ayato. Though she looked reserved, or even cold on the outside, her heart was filled with kindness. She would even argue with her older brother if she thought he was being too selfish.

Though, the Kamisato Clan was recently losing its popularity amongst the people, after the previous leader started showing signs of illness. Because both of the children weren't of age yet, they couldn't assist their father on multiple things. Because of that, the Kamisato Clan was unable to appear in multiple discussions and meetings.

And, because of their father's illness, the next heir, Kamisato Ayato, needed to be a lot more busy, and he rarely spends time with his family anymore, as he needed to focus on both working as the (albeit, unofficial) leader of the Kamisato Clan, as well as studying to actually be the leader of the Kamisato Clan.

As the young lady was walking along the roads of Inazuma, she vaguely sees something.. no, someone laying down, possibly unconscious along the shores of Inazuma's beach. Frightened, she quickly ran down, towards the general direction of the person. She put on a worried smile and waved at everyone she passed along the way.

She finally made her way to the beach. She examined the area, and saw that there was nothing but the boy. She slowly walked towards the unconscious person, fearing that he may be dead. She knelt down, paying no mind as the sand got into her clothes and shoes.

Ayaka checked the boy for any signs of life, whether it's breathing, his pulse, any movement in his body, anything. After what felt like hours of trying, she found that he was still breathing. She also checked for his heartbeat, which, though slower than a regular heartbeat, was there.

"Oh.. now, how am I gonna get you to the estate?"

After a while, and some help from the guards, Ayaka was able to escort the boy to the estate. While walking back, Ayaka could hear the boy breathing deeply. It wasn't very often, but it was a lot better than just shallow breaths.

Eventually, though, as the boy was escorted to a guest bedroom, his breathing rapidly sped up. He also started to let out a few mewls and cries. Ayaka quickly noticed this and hurried to the boy's side. The boy started.. crying.

Ayaka took off her glove and put her hand on the boy's forehead. The girl felt the boy start to heat up. As the boy's temperature started rising, the cries and mewls started to become more frequent. Eventually, he started to move around the bed in discomfort

Unsure of what to do, Ayaka put both her hands on the boy's arm, trying to stop him from moving so much as he could fall down. In a state of panic, she yelled out for a maid to come help her, but, to her surprise, it was her brother that came in instead.

"Ayaka? What's happening?" He spoke, his tone indicated that he wanted a clear and full answer.

"Brother! I found this boy stranded on the beach, he looked like he didn't have a home, so I took him to the estate! I'm sorry I didn't ask you first!" The girl yelled out, still carefully making sure the boy isn't falling off the bed.

"Hm," The older one replied, "That's alright, Ayaka, now, could you tell me what's going on with the boy?"

"I.. I think he's sick, brother! He has a really high fever!" The younger one replied, still in distress.

Ayato walked over to the sleeping boy, before lightly touching his forehead. "He really is hot.." (Author is not sorry)

Eventually, the boy woke up, sitting down on the bed. His vision was blurry, and he was panting heavily. He covered his mouth as he started coughing. There were a lot of thoughts going through his head, such as 'Where am I?' 'What is this place?' 'How long was I out for?' 'Am I even still in Mondstadt?'

But, all of those thoughts were silenced when he turned around. He realized 2 things, 1. He was in Inazuma, and 2. He was in the Kamisato Clan's estate. Being in another country is one thing, but being in the house of the Yashiro Commission's leaders was another thing, especially when the 2 children were staring at you, concerned.

"Y-Young master?! Young lady?!" He blurted out, surprised by their presence.

"You're awake! I found you on the beach" The young lady spoke, "You're not from Inazuma, are you?"

The boy shook his head, before feeling himself heat up again. "I-I.. feel so.. warm.." he mumbled out as he started crying again.

"How old are you? We need the proper medicine, after all" The young master asked. His tone was the opposite of the young lady's, it was calm, and deep.

"I-I'm 14.. please make it stop.. it hurts" The boy spoke, the last part was spoken in high pitch, yet somehow, not too loud to be considered a scream.

After a while, the boy's fever calmed down, with the help of some medicine. He smiled at the 2 siblings accompanying him. "I really am thankful for your kindness, young lord and young lady"

Ayato was sitting down on a chair, while his sister was sitting down near the boy. "No need to thank us! And.. seeing that you're doing better now, could you possibly introduce yourself to us?" The young girl spoke.

"Ah! My bad.. My name is (xxxxxxxx) Thoma, I come from Mondstadt.. I don't really know how I ended up in here.. but, I do remember a few details.. I'm not sure if you'd like to hear my story though, you two may be busy at the moment since.. well.."

"Hm, yes, our father is sick at the moment, but, no need to worry, I'm sure everything is under control right now" The young master spoke, smiling gently.

"We'd love to hear your story, Thoma! We're just worried if you still have a place at Mondstadt, or any relatives that may have no idea where you are right now!" The blue-haired girl said, clearly worried.

Thoma frowned at the mention of relatives, however, he still forced a gentle smile before continuing his story.

"Well.. I was born in Mondstadt, but my mother was Inazuman.. when I was around 7, my mother passed away, not long after, my father was declared missing, so, I only really stayed at my friend's house.."

The siblings stared at him curiously, wanting to know more.

"For the story of how I got here, I was playing on the beach.. and, I think, I got swept up in the currents.. I can't remember how long I've been at sea, or how I even survived, but, I thank the Archons for letting me live" The blonde smiled.

"And, I really do thank you, Miss Kamisato and Mr Kamisato" He smiled, bowing down at the siblings.

"It's really no problem.." Ayato spoke, smiling back.

"Thoma, huh?"
