Ayato and Thoma are now walking back home after a day at Komore Teahouse. After feeding the stray animals, they eventually said goodbye. They were having a regular conversation, nothing out-of-the-ordinary has happened today.

They were now in the roads of Inazuma city. It was a crowded place, filled with all sorts of people and activities. Thoma and Ayato had nothing planned for today, except for getting lunch. They stopped by at a restaurant.

The interior was one that represented the traditional values of Inazuma. They were very strict with their culture, after all. The restaurant had paintings and pictures of what happened long ago, back to when the city was founded actually.

Eventually, they ordered their food, and waited. The two sat in silence, though, it was quite awkward as neither of them had anything to talk about. Instead, they just sat there, ignoring the other's presence.

Eventually, a thought comes across Thoma's head. "Why are we eating out?" Was the question that Thoma had never even thought about, but it won't stop bothering him now. "Does My Lord not like my cooking anymore?" Another question, but this time, it felt like it had pierced through Thoma's heart.

The blonde couldn't help but let out a slight whimper. Now, with these new pair of ears and a tail, he can no longer hide emotions such as this one from Ayato. There was no use in pretending, even if he were to force a smile, the ears and tail would droop down anyway.

After only a few seconds, Ayato has noticed that his dear friend is suddenly now upset. "Is there something on your mind, Thoma?" He asked, his face was concerned and his voice was soft.

"Oh, nothing's wrong, my lord! I just.. seem to be quite hungry" The other spoke, chuckling nervously. He knows Ayato isn't a fool, but, maybe, he might not care enough about Thoma to convince him to finally speak up.

"Thoma" The bluenette warned. This was basically how Ayato gets information, since he isn't someone who is able to coax it out of people, unlike his sister.

"I'm.. just.. I'm jealous, okay, my lord? You almost never want me to make you your meals anymore.. you have food planners, and the best chefs from all of Inazuma working for you, so it's understandable why you'd rather eat food at restaurants rather than me cooking for you.." He mumbled. His face was upset, but, it's more of one.. in denial?

Ayato chuckled, before moving closer to Thoma. "Thoma.. I don't want you to cook because I don't want to hurt you. You already work a lot around the house, which was why I hired the best chefs in Inazuma to cook for me, because I don't want you to overwork yourself more than you already have" He spoke, his voice was gentle.

"I also don't want you to hurt yourself in the kitchen, the food you make is great, Thoma, but I can't stand seeing you hurt yourself just to make me happy" He continued, "Remember that time you burned 4 of your fingers because you tried cooking with your pyro vision? Or when you ended up with cuts and bruises all over your arms and legs because Ayaka was trying to help you cook? Or maybe when you made that hotpot? You told me you nearly spilt it on your face"

Thoma blushed in embarrassment. "T-That was a long time ago" He mumbled, which was followed by another chuckle.

"What I'm saying is, cooking can be dangerous for you, Thoma, of course, you're not prohibited to cook, it's just that I'd rather not burden you with another task that could injure you" Ayato smiled.

After the two have finished eating lunch, they were now on their way back to the estate. Unfortunately, just as they were on the roads, disaster struck. It started raining heavily. Neither of them had brought an umbrella, rain and thunder in Inzauma was always thought to be the doings of the Almighty Shogun.

Thoma sighed, looking over at Ayato. "My lord? How about we.. you know.. go somewhere outside of the rain?" He laughed nervously.

After a few seconds of silence, Thoma then turned to the blue-haired boy next to him. What he saw, was absolutely magical. His eyes were glowing, as if he had never experienced this before, though, that wasn't much of a surprise since he was Lord Kamisato Ayato, head of the Yashiro Commission.

As Thoma looked at him, it felt like time had stopped. Ayato was looking up at the sky, his hair soaking wet. Despite the rain, it looked like a piece of sunlight had shined on his eyes, making them seem to glow even more.

The blonde smiled, trying his best to cover his face from the rain. It appears that the magical sunlight only affects Ayato, not him.

The bluenette then turned his head towards Thoma, smiling. "Thoma.. you know, it has always been my dream to dance in the rain.." He spoke. His voice was light, barely above a whisper, yet Thoma could hear it clearly.

"May I?" Ayato smiled, putting his hand out elegantly towards his blonde friend. He looked magical in the rain, this sight may as well be engraved in Thoma's memory.

While, In Ayato's eyes, Thoma looked perfect in the rain. His hair dropped down, making it appear wavy. His eyes looked stunning, the colors contrasting with the gloomy blue environment. Ayato swore he also saw Thoma blush, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.

Thoma chuckled a bit, before putting his hand on Ayato's, and, from there, they start dancing in the rain, without a single care of the world around them. They felt like they were in complete privacy, no one there to ruin the moment, because no one was actually there. Everyone had gone away at the sight of rain, fearing that the Shogun may have caused it.

Ayato and Thoma though, stand proudly in the rain, doing many, elegant dances. Perhaps elegance runs in the Kamisato Family.

In the end, when the rain started to stop, they made their way back to the estate. Thankfully, the streets weren't too crowded at that time. Today had only been the 2nd day of the 1 week holiday, but to them, it had certainly been the most magical so far.
