Third POV
After dinner, everyone sat in the living room. All four of them were talking about their day and gossiping.
"Auntie, please let me do the dishes," I pleaded. "There's no need, you have to be home before midnight and Diana is there to help me," she explained.
"Please, Auntie, let me do the dishes this time, my uncle will accompany me to my house. And Diana is there to help me," Lilith said.
She did not want to be a burden to them.
They always do so many things for her, so Lilith wants to help them too. When Jevelina heard that, she could not help it and just nodded.
"Let us do the dishes later, then we can spend some time together," Diana said. They all agreed with her.
"Did you know that King Eros is looking for someone so desperately that no one knows who it is?" After Diana heard this, George and Jevelina turned pale and looked at each other.
This went unnoticed by Diana, but not by Lilith.
Lilith wanted to ask her the reason for her discomfort, but before she could ask anything, she said, "We have nothing to do with the king and the royals. We should mind our own business, Diana." Said George with a serious face.
"Yes, George is right, we should not mention about the king," Jevelina explained to the two girls with concern.
It is scary for the two girls. Because they would never have expected this anonymous behavior from these elders.
Before the girls could question them about anything, the elder ordered them to do their work.
Without protesting, the girls went about their work.
In the kitchen
The two girls went about their work, concentrating only on their work without speaking to each other.
Diana broke the silence and asked, "What are you thinking about, Lili?", "The same thing you are thinking about, Dia," Lilith answered. Diana sighed and said, "They are hiding something from us," Lilith turned to Diana and admitted, "Certainly."
After a small pause, "And it has to do with a king," they said together.
The girls burst out laughing when they saw at what point in the union they had made that statement.
"You know, Lili, I think the king is looking for you," Diana joked, but when she heard Diana, Lili's complexion faded. "You know, Dia, that's wrong," Lilith corrected her.
Diana just giggled at her reaction.
But they had no idea that could be true
After saying goodbye to everyone, Lilith and George walked out of the house.
George accompanied Lilith to her house because it was already midnight and it could be dangerous for her to go alone.
While walking Lilith wanted to break the silence, but she felt that it was not the right time to ask, so she just left it.
After some time, George asked Lili, "Lili, my child, if we ask you to do something for yourself, you will do it, will not you?"
And she was confused why her uncle said such a thing. Before Lilith could say anything, her uncle added, "Please Lili, it's for your safety, please try to understand" Lilith did not know what to say. It was the first time in her life that her uncle and aunt acted like this.
They did not notice until Lilith's house came into view. She went ahead and stood in front of the door, facing George.
She can not formulate words and just nods at George.
George patted her gently and gave her a small smile. She tries to return the smile but can not. George continued on his way without saying anything.
She wanted to stop him, but she was tired now. So she went to her house to sleep it off.
But some strangers were watching her every move.
"Tell His Majesty that we have found her." Said by that stranger.
