I Found You. V2

Chapter 1: a Day like any other

As I was finishing a couple of tasks for another god that had far too many prayers to answer. I thought about how much power I was getting for these simple tasks, because not only was I getting a ton of power... I also got to look around different worlds looking for the mobian hedgehog, I heard so much about them because of the prophecy about them. I stopped and headed back seeing as how I was done with the last task.

Time skip: forty-five minutes

As I approached the other god I saw that he was happy with how quickly I finished the tasks. "Hello-" I bowed slightly to show at least a fraction of respect. "I finished the tasks you had given me and now ask of you that you give me the power you promised."

"And that I shall!" he said slowly in a loud, booming voice as he got ready.

I got ready as well, but it was still an odd feeling to gain so much power because I was such a young god. I was only a year older than a decade and a half. I was stronger than some other gods already, but I needed more power. I quickly said my goodbyes as I left.

I used my bag of portal rings to teleport from planet to planet to find the Blue Mortal mobian hedgehog. The prophecy said they would be more powerful than any god known by man. I pulled out a piece of paper from my bag that had a drawing and the words of the prophecy to make sure of what I knew. He can't be stronger than me if I'm not a known god, I just have to be stronger than any known god to be able to take his power. Prophecies have always been so very literal.

Time skip: two years
(About the time Sonic 2 starts.)

I finally found the planet the prophecy showed he was on, although I still needed to know which city he was in. I had to blend in, so I shape-shifted into a human-esque form to look around and get my bearings on this planet.

I walked into a gigantic city that had a sign that said "Welcome to Seattle". I explored the city until it got dark. As I was roaming out of the city, an armored van was driving so badly that it caught my attention. In the driver's seat was... The mobian hedgehog. My shoulders lowered in perplexity. How did I find him so quickly and what is he doing!? I can't take his power if he dies outside my reach.

I realized that I was just standing in awe and started to chase after the van. I had to find out what he was doing or going for that matter. This might be my only chance to get his power.

The hedgehog seemly was taking apart the van. The van fell apart quickly after he left for the top of a building for his heroic speech. While everyone else was preoccupied, I altered my form into a bat and flew near him.

The hedgehog ran away from the scene he created. He was too fast to follow in the bat form. So I transformed once again this time into my true form, my true form had no real big speed limitations.

I followed him all the way back to a house, where presumably he lived.He climbed up to the roof and jumped through a window, landing on the floor, swiftly walked to his bed and quickly tucked in.

I watched him for a minute or a few before leaving to find a place to take a nap. I eventually found a tall tree by a nearby lake I soon settled in and slept peacefuly...

time skip: 1 hour

 ...until the sound of a large splash startled me awake, I fell into the water myself soon after leaning over to see what happened. I quickly clambered out, sat down on the bank to take a breather. Soon I realized my bag was gone, it was still in the lake. I unlatched my boots and took them off.

i then jumped into the lake, turning into a fish to see better under the surface of the lake. after searching for a couple seconds, I found my bag on top of a small pile of rocks and pebbles. I took the bag in my fin so i wouldn't lose where the bag is. I transformed back and picked up my bag. It was heavy and filled with water. I poured out all the water and stuff inside and set it down to dry.

The papers inside the bag were completely unintelligible... But It was already so much work to find the stone the prophecy was written on! Oh well not like I needed it that much anymore
