I just got a raise today , nobody failed my exam and summer is just around the corner ! Today couldn't get any better !

I've been texting Roy ass , but he hasn't responded to any of my texts ! That is not like him , we usually text all day and get some phone conversations in when he's not driving.

I guess he's just busy or maybe his phone broke.

Guess I'll take the kids out to eat tonight , since I'm in such a good mood and don't feel like cooking . Woooo. Today is such a good day.

Shaniece P.O.V

Moma came home all happy go lucky and shit. I'm tired but she insists we all get dressed and go out to eat. Ughhh whatever !

*2 hours later*

N.P.O.V

As Shana and the kids are enjoying their meals at Applebee's , Shana gets a call.

She gets up and goes outside the restaurant to hear better.

"Hello ? Yes this is Shana Smith. Yes I'm Roy Smith's wife but he's not ...WHAT!? NO..NO...NOOOOOO..PLEASE. NO THIS IS NOT TRUE I WON'T I CANT. NOOO OH MY GOD " Shana yells in an aggressive but shaky voice.

Shana then blacks out

Shaniece P.O.V

I don't know what the fuck is happening but my heart is outside my chest. Everything was fine until my moma went outside to take a phone call then she passed out. What is going on? Let me call Daddy to let him know something is wrong . When its an emergency it doesn't matter the distance he will get here.

I've been calling and calling daddy . I've sent over 20 911 text messages. That was our code for an emergency.

I was the only one at the hospital with moma except my granny and grandpapa. Shantia and the others went home.

Roy is GONE. MY ROY IS GONE. MY HUSBAND MY SOULMATE.

The doctors said it was okay for me to go in . My moma just suffered from a panic attack.

But when I walked it she just kept saying my dads name

"Moma, why you saying Daddy name, he ain't here ? But I did call him and let him know wh--"

"He's Dead" depressed, Shana said.

"WHAT?!! NOOOOOO...MOMA PLEASE NOOO"

N.P.O.V

Shaniece grew weak in the knees from the news . She was speechless. But her loud cries and screaming actions showed she was extremely devastated.

Shana was no longer, Shana.

The news eventually spreaded to all the Children .
