I'm so fucking tired, man. I've damn near cleaned this whole house from top to bottom!

Shantia helped a little bit but I mostly did everything by myself. My mama just went grocery shopping, she's cooking a huge dinner for daddy. My daddy is coming home for 4 months, after being on the road for about 3 months. We are always happy around this time of year.

My daddy is a truck driver , so he's always on the road. For his job , he's always on the road for about 6 months out of the year and sometimes longer than that . Even though , he's always gone and were left with Moma. Me , Shantia and Shania are definitely daddy's girls. This is mainly because daddy was always home with us 3 before he landed this job. I was only eight , Shantia was six and Shania was four when he first landed this job.

We were really sad at first , but as we grew older we understood.

It was just us 3, for a while. My parents had us when they were in there early twenties.

We struggled at first. My moma was still in school full time and my daddy had a part time job as a delivery driver for pizzaria. But things got better , when my moma graduated college and my daddy landed his job.

Our twin brothers and other little sister was born a few years after my daddy landed his job. So they're closest and more attached to my moma but they still miss daddy a lot too.

Shit I don't blame him , he
making sure me and my other siblings have everything we want and need.

Shana P.O.V

"Yall daddy will be pulling up in five minutes" I yelled upstairs to the kids.

I'm so happy my man is coming home. I've missed him. Wow , I can't believe I've known Roy since we were 10 and have been married for 18 beautiful years. Our parents doubted us at first , but we made it !!

I'm just so excited to see my man , its been six longggg months.

"Your father is bringing a friend to dinner so be on your best behavior children".

Shaniece P.O.V

I hate when my moma acts sidity one moment and hood the next.

You know what they say , you can take the girl out the hood but you can't take the hood out the girl.

And we from Saint Louis. We SO Saint Louis at that . We rep 314 till we six feet under .

Roy P.O.V

I told Shana , I'm bringing a friend home to have dinner with us . But I didn't tell her it was gone be Rachel . Rachel is my female driving partner. In the truck driving business, sometimes you are assigned a partner to take turns driving. And it actually helps .

I'm excited to see my kids and beautiful wife. I just want to eat and get some rest!

I knocked real hard on the door and covered the peep hole . "Its the police open up" .

Rachel was trying to hold her laugh in.

Then, My beautiful wife slowly opens the door. She jumped on me and screamed .

I felt like we was teenagers all over again .

But her facial expression and actions changed real quick.

" I don't mean to be rude , But who are you"? Shana said , looking Rachel up and down.

Before Rachel could say her name. Shana cuts her off and directs her attention to me. "Roy who is this"? says Shana.

I'm just thinking , Oh lord not today.

" This is Rachel baby " Remember my driving partner .

"Oh" Shana said and she just stood there.

Shana P.O.V

Roy told me about his driving partner. But damn why she had to come to dinner with him and his family ? Plus, he said a friend. I didn't know he was bringing a damn woman!

She was beautiful. But I'll be nice and still let her eat with us.

As a married woman , I don't trust no woman around my man. But I trust him. I'm a woman and I know how some women are.

She just better , stay in her lane.

I faked smiled , introduced myself and invited her in.

Shaniece P.O.V

" Where are my rugrat children" my daddy yelled from downstairs to upstairs.

I ran downstairs, pushed Shantia and Shania out the way to hug daddy first. I jumped on daddy. I missed him so much ! The rugrats followed up , hugging him tight, so tight daddy fall back on the couch.

We all busted out laughing and smiling.

Then, I noticed some very attractive woman , who I've never seen before standing there laughing too.

Shania stood up , put her hand on her hip and said , "daddy who this woman"?

"Shania what I tell you about being on your best behavior. Now apologize lil girl. You got your damn nerves you don't pay no damn bills to asking who somebody is , in MY House". My moma yelled.

I tried not laughing. But Shania ass suffers from running at the mouth. I swear she 14 going on 24.

Shania apologized though. She knew not to play with moma.

"It's Okay" Rachel said.

" No its not. I ain't been here 10 minutes do I need to start handing out ass whoopins already " my daddy said looking at Shania but he wasn't serious.

" Daddy you know you wouldn't whoop me!" said Shania who was getting tickled by my daddy.

My daddy never whooped us . He hardly ever yelled at us .

" Well kids , I'm Rachel . I'm your father's driving partner".

"Since all questions have been answered , Let's eat ! I'm hungry and ain't had a real home cooked meal from my baby". My daddy said as he kissed my moma on the cheek.

"Bet I can beat you to the table daddy" Shawn one of the twins said.

After the twin said that , everybody raced to the table .

I love times like these with the family .
