Green Lantern: Into the Storm

Chapter Two

Nightfall, Melanie is at her apartment, reading a magazine.

" This time, I will not be back down from a fight once I'll take on Sinestro and his subordinates."  Melanie Hamilton said.

Then, the power ring alarmed.

" Sinestro has been sighted in the old warehouse." The voice of the Green Lantern Ring said.

" Right on it." Melanie Hamilton said as she transformed into a Green Lantern and went outside.

Melanie is arrived in the old warehouse and scanned the area.

" There was nothing here." Melanie Hamilton the Green Lantern said. " But I think I'm already headed into the trap."

Suddenly, four Yellow Lanterns attacked Melanie.

" These are Sinestro's men!"  Melanie Hamilton the Green Lantern said.

Melanie continued to fight off four Yellow Lanterns.

" So much for their intention." Melanie Hamilton the Green Lantern said. " Because I already have a Plan B."

Then, Sinestro showed up.

" We meet again rookie." Sinestro the Yellow Lantern said. " You might not lasted too long as the Green Lantern."

" I'm not falling for your own tricks Sinestro!" Melanie Hamilton the Green Lantern said.

One of the Yellow Lanterns hypnotized Melanie as her eyes turned yellow as Sinestro removed her Green Lantern Ring.

" Thanks for the gift rookie." Sinestro the Yellow Lantern said.

One of the Yellow Lanterns thrown Melanie into the wall but Melanie grabbed two rings from her pockets, it was two white lantern rings and wore  the first one to her left finger while the other one  wore it in her right finger and transformed into White Lantern and blasted several Yellow Lanterns.

" Kill her!" Sinestro the Yellow Lantern said.

The other Yellow Lanterns were charging towards Melanie.

" Pathetic!"  Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern said as she managed to slammed down several Yellow Lantern said.

Suddenly, Razor the Blue Lantern showed up and attacked several Yellow Lanterns.

" It's not polite for attacking the innocent lantern!" Razor the Blue Lantern said.

" Razor?" Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern asked.

" Don't worry Melanie. Hal sent me to aid you." Razor the Blue Lantern said.

Sinestro inserted the Green Lantern Ring into the Yellow Lantern Ring battery and glows.

" What is going on?!" Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern Ring asked.

" He powered the Yellow Ring Battery! It absorbed the Green Lantern Ring which it cause to power up the Yellow Lantern Core." Razor the Blue Lantern said.

" The Core of Fear will take over Earth." Sinestro the Yellow Lantern said.

Suddenly, the Red Lanterns lead by Atrocitus attacked Sinestro and his Yellow Lantern Corps.

" Red Lanterns!" Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern said.

" We need back up!" Razor the Blue Lantern said.

Then, Atrocitus attacked Razor.

" You will pay for your betrayal Razor!" Atrocitus the Red Lantern said.

" I would never fall into temptation ever again Atrocitus! Hal is the one who changed my life and gace me new hope for my future!"  Razor the Blue Lantern said.

Suddenly, Hal, John, Arisia and Kilowog showed up.

" Hold it right there!" Hal Jordan the Green Lantern said.

" Hal, there are  number of Red Lanterns!" Arisia Rrab the Green Lantern said.

" Darn! Earth is now turning into a lantern warzone!" Hal Jordan the Green Lantern said.

" We must deal with both Red Lanterns and Yellow Lanterns first." Kilowog the Green Lantern said as he turned his attention to Melanie. " Melanie, you stay close to us, this is a dangerous warzone that we are dealing with!"

" Right Kilowog." Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern said.

" Don't worry Melanie." John Stewart the Green Lantern said. " We will find your new Green Lantern ring to replace the old one. For now, be aware of your surroundings."

" I'm fully aware of that, John." Melanie Hamilton the White Lantern said.

Laira Omoto and the Red Lanterns pinned down Sinestro.

" Die Sinestro!!!" Laira Omoto the Red Lantern said. " Your ring shall be burned!"

As the other Red Lanterns pinned down Sinestro, Laira turned her attention to Hal.

" Laira?" Hal Jordan the Green Lantern asked.

Laira bursted her anger and tackled Hal down to the ground.

" DAMN YOU HAL!!!" Laira Omoto the Red Lantern growled.

" LAIRA! Stop this!"  Hal Jordan the Green Lantern said.

" How can I forget after what you did to Oa!" Laira Omoto the Red Lantern said.

" It was Sinestro! He's the one who's responsible for attacking Oa!" Hal Jordan the Green Lantern said.

" Liar!" Laira Omoto the Red Lantern said.
