As Aether lay there, filled with depression and grief, he pondered, is Venti truly dead? He didn't want to believe it, he didn't want to accept it, he wanted it to be a nightmare, a dream, a delusion, a hallucination. But he knew that it was true, he knew that Venti was truly dead, making him delusional, making him emotional, making him lose touch with reality.

He was in a state of denial, he was in a state of disbelief, he was in a state of shock, he was in a state of pain, he was in a state of sadness, he was in a state of regret, he was in a state of anger, he was in a state of hopelessness, he was in a state of despair, he was in a state of emptiness, he was in a state of darkness, he was in a state of confusion, he was in a state of nothingness, he was in a state of nowhere.

As Aether was in such a dark place, as he was so filled with regret, with anguish, with emptiness, with despair, with hopelessness, and with pain, he began to lose sight of everything that he had ever lived for, everything that he had ever loved, everything that he had ever cared about. He began to lose touch with reality, he began to lose sight of himself, he began to lose sight of his own worth.

He began to question the point of everything, he began to question the point of his own life, he began to question the point of everything that he had ever done, every choice that he had ever made, every moment that he had ever experienced, every person that he had ever loved. He began to lose touch with the light, he began to lose touch with the joy, he began to lose touch with the happiness, he began to lose touch with everything that he had ever lived for, everything that he ever loved.

As Aether stood there, in a sea of desperation, in a sea of pain, in a sea of sadness, in a sea of regret, in a sea of loss, in a sea of emptiness, in a sea of nothingness, in a sea of silence, in a sea of confusion, in a sea of uncertainty, in a sea of darkness, in a sea of hopelessness, in a sea of despair, in a sea of hopelessness, in a sea of confusion, in a sea of nothing, in a sea of nowhere, in a sea of desolation, in a sea of desolation, in a sea of regret, in a sea of nothingness, in a sea of nowhere, in a sea of desolation, in a sea of darkness, in a sea of loneliness, in a sea of longing, in a sea of sadness, he felt as if he had no reason to live.

But... in that moment of desperation, in that moment of pain, in that moment of sadness, in that moment of regret, in that moment of loss, in that moment of emptiness, in that moment of nothingness, in that moment of silence, in that moment of confusion, in that moment of uncertainty, in that moment of darkness, in that moment of hopelessness, in that moment of despair, in that moment of loneliness, in that moment of longing, in that moment of sadness, in that moment of emptiness, in that moment of nothing, in that moment of nowhere, in that moment of desolation... he realized something.

He realized that Venti's sacrifice had not been in vain. He realized that Venti's love was strong enough to transcend time and space. He realized that Venti's passion was bright enough that it shone on even in his darkest moments. He realized that Venti's light was still with him, that Venti's hope was still alive within him, that Venti's legacy was still alive within him, and that Venti's spirit was still with him, even in his darkest moments.

And so, even in his darkest hour of grief, of desperation, of emptiness, of nothingness, of silence, of confusion, of sadness, of emptiness, of desolation, he found comfort. He found comfort in Venti's memory, he found comfort in Venti's love, he found comfort in Venti's presence, even in his darkest hour.
