« Do not forget Selene. Do not forget how much your mom loves you. Never forget you mean the world to me. Grow healthy. Grow well. Stay kind and continue to be yourself. »

In a small house facing the sea, in a child's bedroom, a man closed a book. His blue eyes, as deep as the ocean, were kind and had a gentle glim. Turning his head on his side, he noticed the young child looking at him with an interested face.

« You are not asleep, are you Eden ?
- No Dad! I wanted to know the end of the story but you stopped. What happened next ? What happened to the Queen and her daughter?
- Haha. Such a curious daughter you are. - He said calmly before brushing the brown locks of his precious daughter. - It will be for tomorrow's bedtime story.
- What!? Nooo! I want to know! »

Her father chuckled a bit before gently putting down the book on the nightstand. He was not surprised his daughter was still awake. After all, every day, before she falls asleep, he would read the story of « Princess Selene : Daughter of the Moon ». Like that, he was sure his precious Eden would stay calm before going in her dreams.
Standing up, he kissed her on her forehead and switched off the light of the room.

« You will know soon enough my Dear. Now sleep well.
- Otay... Good night Daddy.
- Good night little star. »

Years passed, the story ended. Eden was a grown up... At least, she said she was. Now sixteen years old, she was in her house's attic, cleaning old things that were here for so long a thin line of dust was seen from afar.

« What the hell was your dad thinking. Keeping all this stuff ! - Growled a man's voice.
- Oh hush. He loves to keep things! You are no one to speak Gabriel.
- I think that's stupid. »

Sighing while rolling up his sleeves, a boy with short blond hair was looking around the place. His emerald eyes focused on a pile of old books. He was... desperate. But before he could say a new thing, he heard someone falling. Turning quickly his head to the sound, he was not surprised to see his best friend had fallen. It looked like she had tripped over a piece of white fabric.

« Aoutch... It hurts. - Her golden eyes looked at the fabric - I could almost rip it. Dad would have killed me!
- You are being dramatic. »

Gabriel said while putting his round glasses on his forehead. His blond hair was falling from apart his face. He helped Eden stand up, checked if she had any injuries and felt relieved when he saw nothing.
The girl crossed her arms, a pout on her face. She was not a child. She could have checked herself... But she knew Gabriel was not doing that to bother her. She was... the clumsy type. She knew that. She always has been and Gabriel always covered her antics.

« Anyway. What's that.
- What? »

Turning around to face what the boy was looking at, Eden had a gasp. In front of them was a big mirror with silver decorations.

« It's super pretty... Don't you think?
- Yup. Totally looks like something your dad would keep. It looks old.
- Hey! What is that supposed to mean !
- That your old man is someone who loves old stuff. »

Eden gave a small pat on her friend's arm, laughing a bit. He was not wrong... Eden's father, Theodore, loves ancient things. For as long as she could remember, he loved going to markets to discover new treasures and she was always following him.

Although it was a pretty object, something was odd. They could not see their reflections. Gabriel had his arms crossed on his chest, raising an eyebrow. Yup. That mirror was strange.
