You were and had always been aware of Julieta's quite unhealthy obsession with you, but you honestly didn't mind it one bit. You knew deep down it was just her way of loving you. And you knew that. Her family was too knowing of this obsession, but they weren't so nice about it. They would say how unhealthy it was, which it was, but you weren't judging Julieta about it. Or they would say it was weird, and just insult her in general. Which you hated. 

You would always stick up for Julieta every time her family dared to say something, you never felt bad afterward either. 

You would also reassure Julieta whenever she got jealous, holding her hands, and comforting her. Telling her that you would never leave her. That never failed to make her feel better.

When you first found out about Julieta stalking you, you couldn't lie. A little shaken up about it, but the day after she continued to confess. She had told you about her obsession with you, and told you it was fine if you didn't want to be with her. But to her surprise, you said yes. And told her how you didn't mind her obsession, as long as she didn't do anything bad, and that she would love you. Which Julieta agreed.

After that, it took some getting used to, but you eventually got used to it. And you made a promise to always love her no matter what, and you kept that promise.
