Brad had called Rachel after his final class to let her know he had made a dinner reservation for the two of them at the five star restaurant across the street from her dorm. He said he would meet her there in ten minutes, the call ended and Rachel changed into the nicest dress in her wardrobe. She headed over to the restaurant to find Brad already seated at their table and looking quite handsome. They spent the night sipping wine and enjoying a delicious meal. Brad paid the tab and entered the hotel next door. Rachel was blown away by the beauty of the establishment but was overjoyed that she would be staying the night with her prince. They checked in and walked into the breathtaking suite, she could not believe Brad had gifted her this. Rachel could not find the words to express just how happy she was to be here with him—she was on top of the world.

Rachel ventured over to the big glass window and admired the view, the beach and water that accompanied it caught her attention. She could get lost in that natural landscape so easily but refused to let her mind wander. She was there with the man of her dreams, the one that made her feel complete-she was excited by the fact that she could now claim him as her own. It was not long before their designer outfits had fallen to the marble floor and a make out session had commenced, sex followed shortly after. Brad and Rachel's heads connected to the pillows once she had finished. Brad attempted to catch his breath before speaking another word:

"My God Rachel you are just so-so amazing" Brad said.

"Oh Brad you are even more amazing. I love you so so much" Rachel proclaimed as she sunk into his warm embrace. The couple went to sleep around 9PM that night and returned to the campus early the next day. Rachel raced to her nursing class and Brad booked it towards the social sciences building. He had a lot of grading to catch up on before classes started. He sat at his desk reviewing important assignments and recording their grades, he let out a deep breath once he had completed this exhausting task and started his stroll down the hall in the direction of his respective lecture hall. He kindly greeted the students and instructed them to focus their attention on the powerpoint on brain anatomy that he would spend the entire hour discussing. Brad taught a total of six classes that day and returned to his office to decompress. There was a post it note on the inside of his office door written in pink gel pen:

"Thank you for a lovely night. I look forward to seeing you again. Love, Rachel" he pressed the note into his chest as his heart began to swell with love and a sense of appreciation—something he had never really felt before. He stuck Rachel's note on the bottom of his computer screen and got back to work. Midterm exams were coming up and he was in for a long evening of preparation.
