"Thanatos. The Greek God?" I ask, completely stunned, this coulnt be real right?
"That is me dear." 'Father' Thanatos says.
"How did you and mom meet?" I blurt out, Thanatos smiles amusedly at the question.
"Your mother was very special.....a Demigod like you, a daughter of Aphrodite, a charm speaker, she caught my eye when she was willing to sacrifice her life for a dying child. Your mother was a true hero." He says, i look down. Was this guy really my dad?
"Ive been watching you Y/n, everyday, and yes i know your wonders, you did infact fight the so called 'Mrs Dodds', its all real. Its just the mist that has effected the mortals memorys. And that is why i have brought you a gift." He says.
"A gift?" I ask, Thanatos held the diary of mine with the words 'Reason' on the front, he then sets it aflame.
When it finished burning it reappeared, it was black and the words 'Reason' were the colour gold.
"Open it." He says, i hesitently open the book and it suddenly turns into a giant scythe,

I glower at it in amazement.
"This is awesome!" I say, it had a faint black glow to it.
"Im glad you like it Y/n, but i have to go now." Thanatos says, i smile at him, he cracks a weak smile back.
I couldnt believe this God was actually my father, he then disappeared and i was pulled back into the normal world.
"Y/n are you alright?!" Percy asks as i sit up, i nod quickly and.reach into my pocket pulling out my new scythe / diary.
"Ill take care of you." I whisper silently
"That was unnatural." Grover says worredly, he was clearly distressed.
"It was nothing." I say, leaving it at that, none of them spoke any further.

Later i was then roaming around the corridors when i saw Percy listening in on to someones conversation. I stop next to him.
"I mean a kindly one in our school!" I hear Grover yell
"We would only make matters worse by rushing them, we need the two to mature more." Mr Brunner says
"But Percy and Y/n may not have time, the summer solstice deadline-"
"Will have to be resolved without them Grover. Let them enjoy their ignorance while they can." mr Brunner says
"But they SAW her. . ."
"Their imagination." Mr Brunner insisted
"The mist over the students and staff will be enough to convince them."
"Sir i cant fail in my duties again." Grovers voice cracked
"You havent failed Grover." Mr Brunner said kindly, "i should have seen her for what she was. Now lets just worry about keeping Percy and Y/n alive before next Summer-"
Percy dropped his mythology book i glared at him. Mr Brunner went silent, Percy picked up his book and the two of us backed down the hall
