10 Days of training! Issei's true feelings about Richard!?

A/N I couldn't find any images of the place where Issei and the others train for the Rating Game against Riser Phenix. So I pulled up this episode of the anime in order to show you all what I mean when I say the location. Anyways, my remake of the Quirkless Izuku story is up and has two chapters out right now! If you wish to read that story as well, please give it a read, each chapter is over 4,000 words per chapter and might continue the same way for the rest of the story. Let's start the training montage! :)

Issei was struggling to climb the mountain that they were heading for their training. She was carrying a very large and heavy bag on her back in order to increase her strength as well as endurance. She never really ran a lot, so she needed to increase her strength as well as stamina in order to take part in the Rating Game. But her plan wasn't to take part in the Rating Game at all, her overall plan was to make it seem like she wanted to save him to the point of which he thinks that she has now started to care about him, and when she is eventually asked to save Richard... she will decline the request for help. As she makes it to the top of the mountain, she finds herself in the yard of a vacation home that has a lot of land as well as a lake nearby. Richard then looked at everyone as he told them to change into their training gear as they all prepared for their 10 days of training. Issei came out with her own archery training clothes; it was red in the shirt obi as well as had golden accents across the chest area. The pants area was blue with white Dragon marks all over it, the most eye-catching feature about it was the fact that it hugged her curvy body as if it was made to show her curves. She walked out to the yard where Richard kept his eye on her chest for a small amount of time as he went straight into the training for her. "Issei, please pull out your Sacred Gear." Richard said, as Issei listened to him. She pulled out her left arm and placed it in a position of a position of holding a bow. As soon as that happened her clawed gauntlet appeared as her bow appeared in her hand. "Alright you need to increase your power so I will need you to keep boosting until your body can't go any longer." Richard explained. Issei nodded her head as she charged for a few minutes, and when she started to feel a large strain on her focus in keeping the power in her control she looked to Richard. He nods and looks to Kiba as the boy was across from her as he told them to fight one another. They went to one another as Issei had a bad form on holding a sword as they attacked and blocked the others attack. As soon as Kiba had the chance he knocked the sword out of Issei's hand as she immediately pulled out her gauntlet and placed it in the position of firing something to him. As soon as she was placing all the compiled energy, she collected into her palm she started to charge a blast that was making Kiba sweat from concern. Issei's face was scrunched up in concentration as well as pain from the strain going straight to her hand. The ball of energy that was being collected by Issei was showing as it grew to her exact height and Kiba was in a guard, when. "Alright Issei, release your magic!" Richard called out. "Dragon Booster! Bloody Blaster!" Issei called out, launching the blast towards Kiba. As Kiba launched himself towards the blast his instincts told him to dodge or else he would die, and as soon as he did, he felt his cheek get cut from the power of the attack as it went off into the distance and hit the mountain in the horizon. It bathed the world in a red glow as Issei was watching with a shocked face as the dust and light faded, she saw that the mountain that she hit... was not there. "How many boosts was that, Issei?" Richard asked, concerned. "That was at least 20 boosts." Issei said, looking at Richard. "I see, we need to get that number up or get your Balance Breaker unlocked. So you will be training with Kiba for speed as well as stamina, and Koneko for strength as well as defense." Richard said. "Alright boss." Issei said, sarcastically. "Not to mention you will be learning to master magic from Akeno." Richard said, receiving a nod from the Dragon Emperess. As the training started Issei was learning how to use a sword from Kiba as he was the only one who could wield one correctly. They were mainly learning how to increase their strength as well as their stamina, for Kiba it was learning how to take a hit. With Issei constantly hitting him, he knew that it would be eventually time for him to tank a hit for her since she was the linchpin to saving their master. But even though he didn't like Richard that much anymore, they couldn't really do anything in order to escape him. He was their master no matter what they did, and he didn't wish to leave the man who saved his life. But Issei was given the choice to join them and all that happened was her getting creeped out by Richard, not to mention the near rape she suffered from him. It would take a while before she wouldn't be afraid to be in the same room as the man, and it was Richards fault that Issei lost trust in most young men. He was lucky that she was even willing to help in making sure his life wasn't being destroyed. As he was about to go deeper into his thoughts he was hit in the face by a gauntleted fist to his cheek. He was sent flying into the tree behind him as he slumped down. "Shit!? I didn't mean to put too much power into that!" Issei said, worrying about him. "D-Don't worry Issei. You're a real natural at punches you know?" Kiba quipped as he got a smack on his arm from the girl. "Flattery will get you nowhere with me. Even though you're not my type in general." Issei chuckled. "Same here, no offence." Kiba said, grabbing her hand as she pulled him up. They looked at each other as their muscles had been increasing since the three days they started training together. Issei was more prominent as her muscles were seen more in her legs as her arms had minor muscle there. Especially since she said that compacted muscles packed more of a punch than having a lot more muscles in the first place. She even made a new move where she charges her power and transfers it to another ally. "Issei, I know that you wish to not help Richard in the Rating Game. But could you please give it your all in it? I know that Richard doesn't deserve your forgiveness for what he did. I don't even approve of what he did, I just don't wish for Richard to lose his one chance to find the one who would return his love as well as affection. It's already clear that you don't return it, he just doesn't see it." Kiba said, looking the girl in her eyes. "I will defend him as I respect him as a leader, but don't expect me to save him after this Rating Game." Issei said, looking at the ground. "Please, don't make this decision because you feel forced to because of me. I don't want you to feel like you have been forced to do this, it is purely your choice." Kiba said, looking at her. She was his best friend as she trained with him all the time as they treasured their time of training together as brother and sister, at least that was how he felt about it. "I see you as a brother Kiba, you won't be forcing me to do anything. I will defend him as a great leader of this peerage. He has made mistakes such as what happened to me, but I can't stay near him since I am too afraid of him. But I will try my best to make sure he gets his wish to love the person who will return it. I am not that person, and I hope that when I do what I will do in the game... He won't take it personally." Issei said, looking at the destroyed mountain. She then moved away from Kiba as she went to train with Koneko as the duo had become more like siblings in the three days, they've been together. Koneko had told her about what her fears were since Issei found her in her Neko form one night as Issei told her that she could Alway's confide in her to find a way to keep that power under check. With that she had been getting visits from the small Neko girl every night whenever she had nightmares. She made her way into the field of wheat and tall grass as she found who she was looking for as the Neko girl was sitting on a rock meditating. "Hey Koneko-chan!" Issei called out, causing the girl to look in her direction. Reaching out to pet the girls head Issei patted the girls head and scratched behind her ears causing the Neko ears to come out and Koneko leaned into the touch. "Ready to start our training today?" Issei asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." Koneko said, bluntly. They got into a fighting position as they launched to one another punching the others fist almost at the same time. This continued for some time before Issei ran out of stamina as this was the third or fourth time fighting an opponent who specialized in hand-to-hand combat. After the training session Issei and Koneko walked back to the main building to get some dinner started as that was one of the things that Issei had to learn how to do. Not that she didn't know how to do it exactly, she just needed to learn how to incorporate Magic into the process as well to save up on energy. As they entered the kitchen, they found Asia there making some part of dinner as Issei was getting into her apron to start making dinner. Soon after the boys entered the kitchen and sat at the table to wait for what the girls were going to make for dinner, while this was happening Issei was making a clear statement that she didn't like Richard by not looking at him the entire time. Kiba was remembering what Issei was talking about earlier during their training as Issei told him about what she was planning on doing in the Rating Game. "And I hope that when I do what I plan to do in the game... he doesn't take it personally." Issei said, looking sad. Kiba was looking at Issei with worried eyes as he didn't know what Issei was planning at the Rating Game, but he could tell that what it was... wasn't going to be good for Richard. He wouldn't get the respect he earned in the Underworld, and he would be treated as if he shouldn't be the next heir of the Gremory. Issei and Asia finished the dinner for everyone as they placed the plates on the table as it was Pork Cutlet bowls with some potatoes as a side. Not to mention the fact that they had multiple cups of tea made for the dinner, Kiba looked at Issei as she looked back at him with a nod of her head. "Richard... can I speak to you in private please?" Issei asked, walking to the front door. As soon as she left the room Richard looked at Kiba as if he had the idea of what Issei wished to talk about, when he got a shake of the head from the boy, he walked towards the front door. As soon as he exited the vacation home, he saw Issei sitting on the ground nearby as she was breathing in and out. This would be the first time they would be all alone without anyone disturbing them, and he would make this effort to see if he even has a chance with her. "Issei, I just wanted to tell you that I am terribly sorry for what I did to you 5 days ago. I wasn't acting in the normal way I present myself, and I know that isn't going to make what I did go away... but I need to know if you would go out with me sometime after this Rating Game with Risa." Richard asked, as if completely unaware to the tension he was creating. "Richard, no matter how bad you feel about nearly RAPING ME, I don't love you the way you seem to have fallen for me. I know that I have been showing that the entire time, but in your eyes, I have been playing hard to get right?" Issei asked, only receiving a nod in return. "That's where the problem lies. I don't like you the way you want to be loved, there is someone out there that is for you, but that person isn't me. I will help you get out of this marriage with Risa Phenix. But at that point afterward I will not be with you nor willing to help you afterward. Any more arranged marriages after this I will not help you. I will only help you as your servant nothing more nothing less. The fact of the matter is I can't stand being near you without thinking about what happened 5 days ago before Risa arrived in the ORC. I still have nightmares about it, what do you think would happen when you found out that you got a young human girl pregnant in the human world trying to get out of a marriage you didn't want?" Issei asked. "Devils aren't capable of getting impregnated easily though." Richard said. "Just because 30% of my blood is Devil Blood, doesn't mean that it doesn't stop my HUMAN body from getting impregnated. If I were to have sex with you that night, I wasn't on the pill and I would've most likely gotten pregnant. We are fundamentally different species, and I would be more likely to get pregnant no matter what you did." Issei said, as Richards eyes went wide from the information. "But it was said that your race of humans doesn't get impregnated easily." Richard tried to reason. "Richard, where did you get that information?" Issei asked. "I found out about it on the internet as it stated that about 1 out of 4 women are bound to get impregnated by another species of Supernatural." He spoke. "Yes, but did you not pay attention to the fact that I also have Dragon's blood roaming through my blood as well? A Dragon has a higher chance of conceiving a child no matter the race should they assume a human form if they make their egg cells, or sperm cells more fertile." Issei said, all information coming from Ddraig. "Could the same be done with the Devils?" Richard asked. "If you wished to conceive a child in that night, your body would make sure that your sperm would be filled with fertile sperm ready to create a child. And with the fact that you were desperate to rape me that night... I would've been throwing up that morning and regretting every life choice I ever made." Issei said, seriously. "I see, well thank you for the eye opener. Let's go eat some dinner, before it gets cold." Richard said, with a broken look in his eyes. "*Sigh* I know that wasn't what you wanted to hear, but don't take it to heart okay? I still respect you, not as a person... but as a great leader." Issei said, walking past Richard after placing her hand on his shoulder.

The next 7 days were spent training as much as possible as Issei managed to get a handle on her power to the point where she managed to unlock her Balance Breaker as soon as Richard had to enrage her to unlock it. It was surprising when he stated that the Fallen Angels would go after her parents and that it would be sent by him. Of course, she didn't even think that he couldn't even get into contact with them, but it pushed her to the limit she needed to unlock her Balance Breaker. As soon as it was unlocked, they tried to see how much boosts she could go before she ran out of stamina. It turned out that she could use the form whenever she wanted as well as it made her stamina many times higher than her original amount. So she could enter it even if she was injured which would be the equivalent of attacking an animal on its last legs which is extremely dangerous. Mainly because it seemed to make Issei many times more powerful than when she first entered it without being drained, since she would be running on fumes as well as fighting for survival. The time passed by as it was about time for the Rating Game in a few hours and Issei couldn't wait to put her plan into motion.
