It was truly a beautiful day outside. It was sunny, with the ocasional clouds to provide shade. A cool breeze floating by and providing a refreshing feeling. Someone could sit outside and read a book, peacefully. Quietly. It was a day to enjoy outside.

So why were all these high schoolers forcibly put into the auditorium on this said beautiful day's afternoon really evaded Dazai.

Inside the auditorium was utter disharmony. There were loud noises everywhere from people's conversations, the sound of squeaky shoes stepping on equally squeaky bleacher seats-- which students have been explicitly warned about stepping on-- and the rise in temperature from 300 sweaty teenagers all huddled together.

Not that the temperature really bothered Dazai at all. Just peeved him a little and on the inside. What really bothered Dazai was that he'd gotten separated from his friend, Kunikida.

Dazai noticed that his shoe was untied and went down to fix it but when he looked up, he realized Kunikida seemed to have vanished. And pushing through the crowd seemed like too much effort. He really contemplated on screaming 'FIRE!' just to have a chance to find him.

Huffing to himself, Dazai sat down in the nearest seat, which happened to be the aisle seat next to the steps.

He would've preferred to be with any one of his friends during the assembly. He could've found any sort of entertainment being near them. So far, he can't really see his friends from where he was at.

Grumbling to himself, Dazai crossed his arms and stubbornly stared at the projection screen the staff set up. Seems they were going to present powerpoint slides or something.

Suddenly, Dazai felt a hostile force beside him, and before even seeing who was there, he leaned forward hard, he was practically folded in half, to narrowly dodge the backpack that was swung at his head.

"Nice to see you too Chibi"

Said 'Chibi' let out and annoyed huff and sat down heavily onto the seat next to Dazai. He leaned back against the seat behind them.

"Quit calling me that asswipe"

Dazai chuckled at himself and simply leaned back, just like his partner.

He could easily tell that Chuuya was feeling a little overwhelmed due to his visit with the counselor. He gets scheduled meetings with that guy every two weeks and Dazai has Chuuya's schedule memorized.

Feeling oh so generous, Dazai decides to not bother him too much. Simply offering gentle pressure to Chuuya's hands and fingers, something Dazai likes playing with.

"Is this Chibi or are you Habi?"

"... Chibi..."

A brief, faint soft smile threatens to show up on Dazai's face, which he immediately disposes of. He simply nods and continues playing with Chuuya's fingers, to help ground him.

Dazai knows Chuuya suffers from dissociative identity disorder and Chuuya's "other half" refers to themself as "God of Destruction", Arahabiki. Dazai felt like that's a mouth full, so he calls them 'Habiki' or simply 'Habi'. Chuuya calls them a bitch.

For whatever reason, Habi gets suppressed by Dazai. Usually just by playing with his hands. His touch simply makes Habi shut up. And if they're hidden from everyone's view, then Dazai'll trap him into a hug. It's their little secret.

No one suspects a thing since the pair is always fighting. No one even suspects they're friends that trust each other with their lives. They just know that those two are always at each other's throats. Sometimes they'll remember they're a pair, usually whenever they're causing mischief or simply sitting in each other's presence without arguing for once.
