I came out of the restroom wiping my face dry. "Are you okay?" Lexington ask wrapping his arm around me. "Yeah , its just harder than I thought to lie to my family." I answer. He wrap his arms around me & smiled. "I promise you , you won't be lying that much to them." He replied. "What does that mean?" I question. "Trust me." He whispered and gave me a kiss out of the blue. Once again I felt a bunch of fireworks go off. I held onto him tighter as I kiss him back never wanting this moment to end. "Would you both get a room!" Megan snap giving us literally the death stare. "Oh come on , Meg like you & Jake didn't make out in public when y'all first got engage." I uttered. "No , cause we have class. We are nothing going to make out in front of people judging us and thinking wrong about us." She answered. "Whatever. I have a bit of advice , why don't you take the stick out of your a*s & lighten up." I responded grabbing Lexington's hand and walking away. "Why is your sister so rude? She is nothing like you." He questioned. "Megan has always hated when her sisters accomplish something in their life. Its how she is. That's why no one pays any mind to her." I replied. "Oh!" He smiled as we walk back to the table. "You okay , darling?" My mother ask. "Yes!" I answered as I sip my wine. We continued to chat through dinner with me catching Megan giving me the occasional smirk and this glare that she has something on me. I know because every time she gives you that look she has dirt on you & she couldn't wait to us it against you.
