"Tubbo."
Tubbo woke slowly, confused why he wasn't at home.
"Oh yeah, all that happened. So it wasn't a dream?"
"Tubbo are you ok?" Ranboo asked.
"AH! Sorry! Sorry!"
"It's fine. Are you alright? I know it's a lot the next day." Ranboo said from where he was standing next to the bunk.
The bunks were quite low so Ranboo was still quite a lot taller than them.
"Hmm yeah i geuss."
"Me and some other agents are gonna go out for breakfast, wanna come?"
"Am i allowed?"
"Schlatt says yeah."
"Ok lemme get dressed."
He climbed down from his bunk and stood in the middle of the floor.
"Woah, are you ok?" Ranboo asked, catching him.
"Yeah sorry just... just remembered what job i signed up for."
"It's all good. You can get changed here or in the bathroom. Tommys in one of the common rooms."
"Can i change in here?"
"Sure, i'll just be outside."
Once ranboo left, tubbo quicky changed into some basic clothes from the duffel bag and grabbed his phone before wandering out.
"Hey."
"Hi. We'll just go down to the common rooms, if you get overwhelmed by people trying to introduce themselves just tell me, i'll sort it."
Tubbo nodded and followed Ranboo down in the lift. They walked into a lounge looking room and tubbo looked round anxiously.
The thought was stuck in his mind that these people had killed. All had witnessed and committed murder and went about life like they hadn't.
He sat down on a sofa and a pink haired person walked up to him.
"Hi, i'm niki."
"Hi."
"I know recruitment can be a lot, if you wanna talk at anypoint you can find me."
"Thanks."
How is she a murderer? Tubbo thought. She's so nice and sweet.
"C'mon tubbo, we're going." Ranboo said and tubbo followed them.
"Ran?"
"Yeah?"
"All these people... have they all... killed?"
Ranboo slowed to down to walk at the back of the group with tubbo.
"Most have. I know we don't act like we kill for a living or anything. Some people here don't work on assignments. We need people to track down people after all."
"Hmm ok."
"I know it must feel weird but you'll get used to it eventually. You should start training soon."
"Oh."
"Yeah... it's kind of a shock the first time you go on an assignment but we can all assure you this needs to be done. Also i've heard your first assignment is Crow and Blade so you'll be fine."
"And they are...?" Tubbo asked.
"Well you met Phil yesterday, see him at the front? Green hoodie. And then next to him is his assignment partner. Everyone gets and assignment partner or 2 that fits and counter balances their skill set. Some of these guys are really good and get paired together. Your not always with your group buy its a base group of people you often go with. Yeah well Next to Phil is Blade, or Techno. They work together a lot."
"Ok... do i get some kind of timetable for training?"
"Well no assignment is a set time really. Sometimes you get a rough time to be at headquarters but schlatt wanted you to know that you've got about 4 training assignments and then guided assignments. Also VR assignments which are pretty cool."
"Ok..."
"Right now we're outside so we can't talk about it for security stuff so... yeah... warning."

Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo all just hung out in their dorm when they got back, playing random games.
"No i won that."
"Tommy, me and Ran beat you about 10 times each."
"I won that round though."
There was a knock at the door and once Ranboo had said to walk in, Niki opened the door.
"Hey, Tubbo, Schlatt needs you."
Tubbo went pale.
"Is it the first assignment?" He asked quietly.
"Yeah..."
"Hey, tubbo it's ok." Ranboo reassured him. "I talked to Schlatt and your with phil and hes really nice so if anything goes wrong hes got you. Im sure nothing will though."
"What do i need?"
"Just go to Schlatts office, he'll tell you if you need to grab anything." Niki said.
"Bye tubbs! Good luck." Ranboo said as tubbo got up and walked out.
Tommy just yelled bye.
Tubbo entered Schlatt's office and sat down.
"Hello Toby, first assignment."
"Yeah..."
"Ranboo said you were worried. Don't be, you've got Phil and Techno, they'll keep you safe."
Techno entered and sat in the chair next to Tubbo and Phil stood behind him.
"First assignment, Phil, Cal's sending you the details. Look after toby. Uhh good luck."
"Such an encouraging speech." Techno said sarcastically.
"Tubbo, just grab a jacket, phil will tell you if you need anything else."
Tubbo walked out of Schlatt's office, even less prepared than before.
As they walked to the lift to go back to the dorms momentarily techno turned to tubbo.
"Don't think we've met. Orion, you can call me techno. He/they."
"Not the time tech." Phil said.
"What? Do i just leave them to guess who i am?"
Tubbo grabbed a jacket and received a quick comforting hug from Ranboo before leaving again.
"You don't know how this works." Phil said to tubbo. "Depending on the case ,which i will check in a second, our job is to just go in and kill the guy, simple as that."
"Right..."
"Look mate i know you might be worried but we've got you. It's difficult to adjust to the job at first but we'll help you, won't we tech?"
"Hmmm? Oh, yeah." Techno looked up from staring at his combat boots.
They reached the underground floor and Tubbo followed the older 2 to an equipment room.
He was told to swap out his shoes for combat boots, change into cargo trousers, put on gloves and some other protective gear before following Phil to a van, feeling much like a child on their first day of school with unfamiliar clothes and no exact idea what was ahead of them.
