Arthur Leywin

I hadn't had a chance to talk to Kathyln about what happened yesterday. I carried her to her room and sneaked out to return to mine. Since then, all I know is that she skipped the DC meeting because she wasn't feeling well. I do feel guilty somehow, but also frustrated.

Well, atleast I got to clear things up with Aya. That should limit her actions for a few months. But I can't stay like this. If I am to get my confidence back against Aya, I need to break into the white stage asap. So here I am, taking care of any lose ends,

I opened the wardrobe on my side of the room. I had made sure that Elijah wouldn't come here until night, dear Emily was talking him up after all. There was something in this wardrobe that, if seen by Elijah, would send him into a coma. could hear muffled noises from the huddled figure. His voice was rough after no water or food for a couple days.

"How have you been, Lucas Wykes?"

His eyes were glaring at me. No longer regarding me as a pest that was supposed to be beneath him, but rather an enemy that he wanted to crush no matter what. I still remember the pain felt when he attacked me in front of the Elder Guardian. I took out Note's mask from my ring and put it on, making sure he knew what I intended to do.

"Remember me?" I said in Note's hoarse voice. His expression turned to confusion. But wasn't going to stop here. I took out a written note that explained how Lucas had encountered the Radical group and they had tried to recruit him. He had accepted in an attempt to lure information about them, but they had discovered his motives. He was leaving this note in fear of what was to come, and also listed names of the group's members.

But the best part about it was...it was in Lucas' handwriting. Not a single flaw could be discovered. Naturally, his expression now showed primal fear. He looked at me like I was the Devil reincarnated. This will most definitely raise suspicion. How an arrogant man like Lucas had changed his ways so drastically. It will also give his death a noble cause.

This frustrated me, but I decided it was a fair exchange if it got me away from his brother's eyesight.

I then took him to the small clearing behind the Academy and proceeded to release all my stress on his body. The things I did to him, you wouldn't wish that upon your worst enemy. In the end, left his lifeless face intact so he could be identified without any problem. I erased my mana signature and returned to my bed for good night's sleep.

The Next Day

It was afternoon and to say it was mayhem would be an understatement. After Clive's apparent disappearance, Lucas' death was the last straw that led to the classes being suspended. Every name written in his note was personally arrested by Lance Bairon himself. I had gone to ask Arthur how he felt. He was frustrated that he couldn't do this to Lucas himself.

The Director declared that Clive had also suffered a similar fate to Lucas. Elections to fill the student council were going to be held when classes eventually opened back up. For now, the DC members were guarding the school grounds, with even the Lances' personal team members helping out.

In the midst of all this, Lilia was promoted to vice president by my recommendation. Arthur also supported this, so Cynthia grandma had gladly obliged. With my workload finally dying down, I had a chance to interact with Arthur. I was currently on my way to his room. Since the DC had been moved to the student council building due to the peculiar circumstances, had the keys to Arthur's room.

O-Ofcourse that was just for an emergency! As the President, would never use my perks for indecent activities!

...hehe~

With the situation being what it is, decided to go clear things up with Kathyln. She was once again sitting alone in the DC office. I made sure to lock the door properly and walked over to her. She, being in a trance, didn't even notice me.

"If I were a assassin, you would be dead be now."

"A-ART!?!?"

"Are you okay, Kathy?" I asked her as sat down next her and held her hand.

"I-I'm okay! Why would not be okay?"

"Kathy...I'm sorry."

"..." She just looked at me bewildered. Wondering why would apologise.

"You can tell me. I know you're not in your right state of mind. You're confused about what to do next and how to confront me, aren't you?"

"I..."

I gave her as much time as she wanted. If wanted to proceed with my plan, I needed her help. And for that, needed her trust.

"To be honest, you're a mystery Arthur. Since the moment I met you in that auction house, you've always been a mystery. You're so different from other boys, so much more mature. Sometimes you carry yourself like you're a king, sometimes you're so colorful that you light up my world. The cold demeanor had practiced all my life comes crashing down when I'm with you. Your touch makes my stomach feel light and uneasy. I thought when I told you that I love you, I was certain had cleared these doubts. When we were discovered by Lance Aya, though my life was over. Not because I was scared that she'll tell Father. But because if she did anything to you then won't be able to live with that regret. Arthur, what do do?"

"Hah! You don't need to worry about Aya. I'll handle her. And Kathy, there's no need to hurry and overthink everything."

"What do mean Art?"

"I mean what mean, there's no need to hurry. We're in our first year of Academy, we have our whole life ahead of us."

"...I think I understand."

"I knew you would. You're the smartest in my class after all."

"Please refrain from teasing your students, teacher."

"Did just dream or you actually attempted to tease me back?"

"It was your dream."

"Hahahaha~ I see, I see. Anyway, I have an important job for you Kathy."

"A job for me? What is it?"

"Before that, need your resolve. Resolve that you won't freeze up from fear in any situation."

"..I will do my best. Tell me what do you want from me Art?"

"I need you to get stronger." I said with a smile on my face.

...

I was on my way back to my room. had trust that Kathy would complete her task.

When I entered the room however, I was in for a surprise. On my bed lay the princess of the elves. Tess was sleeping like a log, as defenseless as she could be. I swallowed a sigh and was about to wake her up. But then, a huge smirk made its way to my face.

It was time to have some fun
