Winning THe Battle or The War?

Blackness surrounded them as a soft voice spoke. "Robin? Bruce?" Myra coughed loudly as it was getting harder to breathe. "Myra!" Robin yelled, trying to find her voice through the darkness. He searched everywhere he could reach. A demonic voice called through the blur, "Lets play a game. A game of hide and seek perhaps. I will take Myranda and hide, and you will try to find us. If you get to us is a matter of time, you win and if you don't, I win and Myra loses. She doesn't just lose a game, she loses a life." The voice of the Shadow Reaper faded and the black dissapeared. Myra was gone. Before Bruce and Robin said anything, they were already out of the library, looking for any possible sign of where Myra could have been taken.

~meanwhile~

"Let me go!" Myra screamed. She was trying to change into whoever she could to break the restraints. No one worked. "My dear, stop struggling and get into this chamber. It will make all of your worries dissapear. The only one you should have is Robin not making it here in time. Poor boy, he doesn't realize that you are going to die no matter what." Myra stood, shocked at what had just came out of his mouth. a small, glass chamber stood in the middle of a room. Contrals surrounded it with buttons everywhere. "What are you going to do to me? Huh? You know that I am indestructable." She said kind of cocky. "My child, step into the chamber and I will show you." He quickly pushed her into the chamber and locked the door. Robin burt into the door at that moment. The other Titans behind him. "Shadow Reaper, stop!" He tried running forward, but was stopped by Raven. "There are traps everywhere. If we tey to wwalk over there, we are going to be killed." Robin thought for a moment. "Since you are all here, I want to show you how my machine works. You see, it extracts the powers out of a person and transsfers them into a case that you can put onto someone else. He pusshed a big blue (Suprisingly not red) button at the top of the controls. A greenish gas filled the chamber as Myra struggled to get out of her restraints. "Robin!" Myra yelled as she fell to her knees. Her body became smaller as the power was drained from her body. "Yes! It worked!" The Shadow Reaper shouted as Myra drew one last breath. The gas left the chamber only to reveal a small, lifeless, myra layinng on the cold floor. A canister of whitee liquid dropped out of the chamber. "Her powers! They are all mine! I haave been trying t do this for years, and thanks to you, Robin, my dreams have come true. Starfire was a little tempered at what had just happened to her friend. She blasted a beam of her green energy and knocked the canister from is hands, it slowly rolled over to Robin. "You are mine Shadow Reaper!" Robin yelled as everyone charged him. A battle that took almost an hour was eventually won by none other than our coourageous bunch. "Any last words Shadow Reaper?" Robin asked, ready to send him to the depths of the underworls by Raven. "The battle you have won, started a war that you will lose." Raven sent him on his way, while Cyborg ran to Myra's aid. "Robin, i think that we need to rewire the machine so her powers an be put back into her." Robin shook his head. "Get on that. In the meantime, we need to lay low for a while. I don't believe that this will be the last time we hear from THe Shadow Reaper."
