[WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE AND BULLYING!]

"I-I'm [username]!"

Kyoya stared at the girl in front of him,"What?"

I also stared at the her. 'Huh?...' My fists clenched my fork as my heart beats rapidly in my chest, 'No... No!' I couldn't stop myself from letting out a small gasp.

Their conversation attracted the attention of the Host Club and everyone in the lunch room. Mori caught my eyes across the cafeteria and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. I looked at him with tears in my eyes, "What?!" I mouthed to him.

He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know."

Everyone stared at the black haired girl with a long braid cascading down her back. She was Nana Takehishi, a friendly girl at Ouran Highschool. She had great grades, looks, humor, and charisma. Something I could never have.

"You are?!" Tamaki shot up from his seat, "It's so nice to meet you, princess!" He kissed her hand and let her sit down next to Kyoya at their lunch table.

Somewhere I used to be.

A little girl sat alone at the giant table in the cafeteria. Then, a tray was placed next to her. She looked up to the owner of it and found herself locking eyes with Kyoya.

"Can I sit here?" He asked, even though he already sat down.

"..." Y/n turned back to her plate and continued eating.

The two sat in silence. Until Kyoya broke it, "I'm not sure what's going on," his sentence made Y/n look up, "But I'm here for you." He smiled down at the girl with such glee and understanding.

Y/n smiled back for the first time in months.

She turned back down to her plate. The thought of her and Kyoya made Y/n blush. What a sweet experience she could hold onto forever. She wanted to always remember it.

~~~
I didn't get it. How could she have known? Was I that obvious with my actions? There was no way! I kept to myself and was barely noticeable in this damned school.
While I was thinking, I bumped into someone's shoulder. I looked behind me and bowed down, "S-Sorry...!"
"Oh, it's alright!~" I recognized that sweet voice. I lifted my head up and saw her, Nana Takehishi. "You should really watch where you're going~" She cooed. But even I could tell it was laced with malicious intent.
"Right... Sorry." I straightened my posture and turned on my heel.
"It's pretty sad, y'know." She voiced behind me.
I turned back around to face her, "What is?"
"That you think you would've gotten him," she paused, "Now there's nothing wrong with aspirations and goals... But yours seemed way out of reach."
She waited for me to say something back, but I didn't. There was no damn way she is the schools idol. She represented the school at one point and is the daughter of a famous painter in Japan. She was a legend. So why did she stoop so low?
"I don't get it." My eyes narrowed at the ground in thought.
She smiled in amusement, "Of course you don't." She shrugged, "But it's okay, I'm sure if my brother killed himself, I would be pretty brain dead too."
My breath hitched, "What did you just say?" The gaze I had on the floor moved to her.
"If only you were a better sister."
If only.
"If only you were actually there for him. Maybe that wouldn't have happened."
If only.
"If only-"
"If only I could rip your damn hair out!" I yelled and ran at Nana, tackling her to the ground. I punched and punched. Even when she was screaming, even when my knuckles started to hurt, I didn't stop. Even when I was pulled away by teachers and administrators, I kept trying to get her again.
Everything was in slow motion, like the day I found my brother. The world seemed to have stopped for that moment, a moment where I was at my weakest. But at this moment, I was at my strongest. I snapped; I held in my feelings and repressed everything from my parents since I knew it was also hard for them. This was all the anger, sadness, and suffering I went through. It was all of that balled up into my s/c fists that hit Nana's stupid ass face.
"Tell me why you did that to my daughter!"
I was snapped out of my thoughts by an angry man sitting across from me. The chairman was by my side and my parents had yet to show up.
Not wanting to say a word, I stayed silent. The chairman knew I had my reasons, but he was also curious at my odd behavior.
"Where's my daughter?!" The familiar voice of my mother echoed through the office as she opened the door. Once she stepped in with my father close behind her, they both rushed to my side.
"Your daughter punched my Nana mercilessly!" The man across from me yelled. "Look at her face!" The man seethed.
"Our Y/n would never do it without reason!" My mother argued.
Then I tuned them out. The sound of ringing filled my ears. 'I've been quiet for so long,' I closed my eyes, 'Not saying anything is not going to help... Tell them, Y/n!'
"'I'm sure if my brother killed himself, I would be pretty brain dead too,'" that sentence made everyone stop, "That's what Nana told me in the hall."
Thick tension filled the office.
"Are you serious, Y/n?" My father (who had said nothing this whole conversation) glanced down at me.
I nodded my head, "Yeah."
My father took a deep breath and glared at the man, making him shiver in his seat. "You dare yell at my daughter while your child said that to mine? You screamed at her for a long while before we came in, right? And I imagined she didn't say anything. And instead of waiting for us, you chose to continue to harass a highschool student." He started to shake from anger. "Do you have any idea how idiotic you are?"
The man across was shaking. He then composed himself, "H-How do you know your daughter is telling the truth?!" He pointed an accusing finger at me.
"Because I was there." A voice chimed by the office door. "Kyoya Ootori, pleasure meeting you, Mr. Takehishi."
