My friends and I were all in the common room having fun with video games or talking amongst each other, it was right before dinner when Iida came into the room and gave me a sweet smile. When Iida walked into the kitchen to finish up the dinner, Mina turned to me and asked a thought-provoking question.

"Have you ever noticed that Iida always seems to give you a small smile whenever you're around? I've been noticing it more recently."

My eyebrow raises in confusion, I had never noticed or put much thought into it. I always thought he was just being nice.

"No...I never really put much thought into it. I just thought he was being nice, he's a good person after all. Why do you ask, Mina?"

Her smile widens and she whispers in my ear.

"I'm pretty sure he has a crush on you" My eyes widen and I whip my head towards the kitchen then back to Mina.

"No, he couldn't! I don't think Iida would be gay, Mina. Plus...I'm not the most attractive person out there" I whisper back to her. She rolls her eyes at me.

"Oh come on Y/n! It's so obvious. Remember back a few days ago when it was raining hard and you both walked back under an umbrella together? he even dried your hair for you!" Tooru added to the conversation.

That got me thinking, I put my hand on my chin and my eyebrows furrowed as I thought back to a few days ago.

A few days ago...

I was packing my bag when I realized I had left my umbrella at the dorms...

"aw darn it...I guess I just have to walk back to the dorms umbrella-less." I sighed and zip up my bag then started walking back to the dorms in the rain.

A few minutes into the walk back, Iida speeds up next to me and puts a hand on my shoulder while holding an umbrella over both of us.

"Why are you walking in the rain, Y/n? you'll get a cold!" Iida says while looking worried. I smile with a small chuckle.

"I forgot my umbrella in my dorm room, It's not too long of a walk so I'll be okay! just extra cold when I get inside" I smile and we walk to the dorms together.

Over the 10-minute walk, we catch up on what has been happening outside of school and how our families have been doing.

"I forgot to ask, Iida, but how is your brother doing? Is he doing any better?" I looked at him worried, with a sympathetic smile.

Iida smiles and nods. "He's doing much better now. He's in physical therapy currently." my smile widens

"That's great! how long ago did he-" Before I could finish my sentence I walked right into a street light face first.

THUNK

I hold my nose and scrunch my eyes closed in pain "Ugh ow..."

"Are you okay Y/n? let's get inside to the dorms and we can dry off while checking if your nose is okay." Iida says, grabbing my hand to pull me along.

Once we get into the dorms, Iida sets down the now-closed umbrella and gets a few towels while I sit at the kitchen table holding my nose.

My hair was dripping wet and my uniform shirt was clinging to my toned body. When Iida comes back with a few towels and some bandages I reach out to take a towel to dry my own hair but he lightly smacks my hand away.

"Why did you smack my hand away?" I say, slightly annoyed

"I'm drying your hair for you, please let me," Iida says calmly with a sweet tone. I nod and put my hand down.

"you need to be more careful of where you're walking, Y/n"

Current time...

"I mean...he could have been being friendly! I mean, I smacked my face into a street light" I say looking at where I assume Tooru's face is.

"Obviously, but that's not the only instance of him being affectionate with you!" she says and grabs my shoulders, shaking me slightly.

"Think back to when we got to the training camp! you cut your thumb when Iida accidentally startled you and he kissed your thumb! he also bandaged it for you!"

I look at her confused "he was just being nice though, sure he kissed it but he does that with his younger brother, it was only a force of habit" I pout at Mina and Tooru.

"Just think back to it! Wasn't it weird how he was acting?" Denki chimed in suddenly.

At the Training Camp During Dinner...

I was peeling potatoes peacefully while listening to music in my headphones when I felt a sudden hand on my shoulder.

I jolt in shock and drop the potato peeler, cutting my thumb accidentally when I turn around.

I see Iida and I immediately calm down and then look at my thumb which is now slightly bleeding.

Iida grabs my hand and wipes the blood off then kisses my thumb, slightly pausing after when he realizes what he was doing.

"Sorry, Y/n, force of habit...I'll go get you a bandaid. Be right back" He smiles and walks away, soon returning with a bandaid and wrapping it around my thumb.

"There we go, all better. Sorry for scaring you Y/n, I said your name but you didn't hear me" he apologizes and I chuckle.

"It's okay! do you want to help me with the rest of dinner?" I smile and pull him next to me.

"That's what I was coming over here to ask!" Iida nods, a blush visible on his face, and ruffles my hair before washing his hands and helping me with dinner.

Current Time...

"I guess...?" I say quietly and start to realize the possibility slowly of Iida having a crush on me was more and more possible.

We continued to talk about all the times they'd seen or heard about Iida being affectionate toward me, not knowing that Iida was listening in to the conversation from the kitchen with a very red face and a worried expression.

Momo goes over to Iida and taps him on the shoulder.

"What's the matter?" Momo asks Iida. Iida sighs and rubs his forehead.

"Mina, Kaminari, and Hagakure are slowly making Y/n realize my feelings for him... what if he doesn't feel the same for me?" Iida wonders out loud just as Y/n walks into the kitchen.

I walk past them to help with dinner, pretending I didn't hear anything. Momo leaves Iida and I alone to work on dinner in silence.

A few minutes later I try the soup a burnt my lips "ouch! hot!" I exclaim

Iida quickly comes over to me and tilts my head up so he can see if my lip is burnt badly.

"Oh no...guess you'll have to kiss it better" I suddenly say with a blush on my face while looking into his eyes.

Iida's eyes snap to mine as they widen. "huh?" he says quietly

I chuckle and place my lips on his softly"all better now" I smile and start to leave the kitchen.

Iida grabs my hand and kisses me again then smiles "You have to be more careful"

I look at him confused "What do you mean?"
