Jk-"I am sorry, I would not come to you." He mumbled. "You all don't have to do all this, Thank you I will be fine. You all can go, I will manage on my own." He said while they could sea tears starting to roll down his face, though Jungkook did not realise.
Jin silently and softly wiped off his tears. And then Jungkook realised that he was crying. And frantically wiped his tears.
Jin-"I am sorry Jungkook, we are the reasons that.... and we can't leave you alone, if you need time then you can take but please come with us, we will do everything for you. We are willing to do everything for you."
Jk-"No! I would just be a trouble for all of you, pls I don't want to be a burden! I said I am fine and I will manage. I am getting what I have in my fate."
Jin sighed and hugged him. "You are not going to be a burden Jungkook. You said you forgave us so why can't you accept our apology this way."
They can see that he still did not agreed a little bit so Namjoon got an idea.
Nj-"ok wait, how about first we take you to our house and you give us a chance to show us our love to you and after that what will be your decision we will accept it." The others looked at him hopefully when he finally nodded after some minutes.
Their father filled the discharging papers and ..
The six brothers took their new brother to their house. It was an luxurious villa, though Jungkook can't see he could feel the aura and could hear many people may be servants bowing and greeting to them.
"Carefull Jungkook, there is a step in front of you." He nodded and stepped on it as Hoseok had his hand around Jungkook's shoulder . And like this they took him to his new room. They made him eat his meal and this time along with flavours he could taste the love they are showering him with.
Jh-"though we want don't want to leave you alone in night still we want to ask you can one of us stay with you in night."
Jk-"C-can I be alone f-for the n-night? I mean I will just s-sleep so there is no n-need of it." He stuttered afraid if they would think he is disobeying.
V-"Okay, if that's what you want. And yeah no need to be afraid you have every right to say what you want and feel. Okay?"he said with a cheerful voice. Jungkook smiled softly and nodded. They placed a water glass in night stand just beside the table and made sure he knows what is in the room in his reach.
He could feel two hands making him lay down and ruffling his hairs before the door closed and the room became dead silent. He don't know how long he just laid there blankly until he could not anymore and sat up. He went to a window, he know it since he could feel soft winds against his skin plus.. you must have heard that when God take one sense organ out of 5 from you then the other 4 becomes stronger.
He started talking to himself. Until he closed his eyes and started singing softly.
He did not even noticed a figure coming to him until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He flinched but immediately calmed down too.
Suga-"It's me Jungkookie, don't worry"
The younger nodded.
Jk-"What happened hyung?"
Suga-"Nothing, just wanted to check on you. You could not sleep?" The boy hummed."Don't take stress Jungkookie and yeah I have not forgotten your words that you said in hospital. Remember, there is no one useless or burdening in this world, even if you feel like that, we all have some purpose and we just have to find it. I know it's easy to say than doing but trust me Jungkook even if you are blind you can still do many things. And you were just doing, you sang like a pro!, not even joking or lying, you can still do whatever you want to you just need your will." He advised smilingly. And this got a bunny smile also.
Jk-"You will support me?"
Suga-"Always!"
For the first time Jungkook felt relieved and leaned on the older happily."Thank you hyung!"
Yoongi patted his back and took him to bed. "Now try to sleep I am here until you fall sleep." He nodded and closed his eyes, the soft pattings lulling him to deep and peaceful slumber.
He woke up by small whisperings around him. He rolled around the bed to fall back to sleep.
"Shh! You will wake him up, keep quiet."
"Sorry Jin hyung, but look how cute he is!" A ball of energy exclaimed and pouted the next second listening the eldest.
"Either keep quiet or leave hobi, we are here to apply cream on his face not to wake him up!" He scolded.
Jungkook smiled, "I am already awake hyung, don't scold hobi hyung."
"Oww" hobi whined when Jin smacked him in hand, glaring.
"See! He woke up for you!"
"Are you feeling ok Kook?" He nodded.
"Ok, then go and fresh up I will apply medicine in you face. Wait I will help you."
He hummed and both went to washroom. They gave him everything near his hand reach and said they would be outside so to just voice out if needed anything.
When they were just out from the room to take him to dining downstairs. He requested to let him try on his own in the stairs though they were not ready they let him to not ruin his will power and they were extra alert to catch the very next moment if he would fall and thankfully he did not, he had a wide smile on his face for the little victory as well as others were happy also.
In the evening, they took him to a park to fresh his mind and let him breath in open air which was filled with aroma of flowers.
Many days went by and Jungkook's trust over them grew and his self-will too. The old members of the family were feeling the emptiness of their little brother filling slowly.
And Jungkook was getting the love he craved for. He did not realise until now that how desperate he was for these love and bonds.
Jungkook would take a small new step everyday to make himself more independent with his disability. He had started taking vocal lessons for a career with his own will and he was doing great at it according to his brothers and coach.
Some weeks passed and their bond grew stronger within those time...
They were having a good evening when suddenly Namjoon came downstairs screaming excitedly.
"Hyung! Jungkook! I have a good news!!" He had a big dimple smile on his face.
He stood in front of Jungkook and patted his hairs.
Mr. Kim-"what happened Joon-ah?" He asked confused but still smiling seeing his excited son.
Nj-"We got a donor! We can go to USA since there is a best doctor in this field and Jungkookie can see again!"
All of their eyes sparkled with hope. They delightly squealed out loudly. And Tae hugged Jungkook tighter.
Jin-"Really? Who will donate?"
Nj-"yes, Idk except .. he has a daughter who got in some kind of accident and need some money, so we just have to pay 1lakh won that we can easily do and Jungkookie will be good as new!!"
When they looked at jungkook they noticed he was not happy as others, he did not had any smile, just a gloomy face.
Jm-"What happened Jungkookie? Are you afraid? You don't have to be afraid kookie, it will be alright!" He patted his shoulder. He only got a small head shook.
Jk-"Hyung.. I think.. I don't think it will be right to .. I mean.." he could not find words to express this weird feeling.
Suga-"Relax Jungkook, don't take stress just say what's bothering you."
He took a deep breath before starting.
Jk-"Hyung, I don't think it's correct to do this, just think why would anyone give his an important organ.. It's like organ selling, I mean it's a father who desperately wants his daughter to be fine! And .. since I know how difficult it is like this, I don't want to give it to another healthy person, he could get money from anything else too. Maybe he will have problems but he can get the money either way but something like God gifts like eyes.... A father is thinking it emotionally not practically hyung. And it's like taking advantage of them... I mean .. I hope you understand hyung." He sighed facing down. There was a silent for a moment as they all thought about it.. It was not wrong what Jungkook said, in fact it is true about "taking advantage" thing.
Mrs Kim- "You are right Jungkook, We will be selfish for doing this, and regarding the money we can donate it but taking the organ... It's not right."
Tae-"But what about Jungkook."
Jk-"It's okay hyung if that's what my fate is.. but knowingly I can't give any other person the pain that I am going through." He whispered. But then he picked himself up.
"His daughter would need him after the surgery too so if he himself will need help them who will help his daughter but" he gave a soft smile. "I have you all here, I may not want your physical supports but you have helped me emotionally and mentally too much in all these weeks and I know you will do this in future too!"
"Right hyungs? Mom- dad?" They too smiled and said in unison-"Yes, our Kookie! We will always!!"
"Promise?" He showed his palm in front of him smiling.
And soon felt 8 warm hands in his too.
"Promise!! Forever!!"
