There are many types of demon in the netherworld, from the lowborn imps up to the highborns and the lords of their respective ring.
In olden times there were humans that could harness the powers of demons called summoners, but that age has long since been forgotten.

[ 9 Years in the past ]
Stolas : STELLA! STELLA! WHERE IN BLAZES ARE YOU, WOMAN?!
Imp Servant : Um...sire?
Stolas : What is it?
Imp Servant : Madame Stella went to the flower garden, sire.
Stolas : Is that so?
Imp Servant : Y-yes, s-sire.
Stolas the grabs the imp servant forcefully, his eyes burning fiercely with a deep red glow.
He then speaks in a low and annoyed tone.
Stolas : Well why didn't you stop her?
Imp Servant : I-I'm sorry, sire, I didn't think to, please don't hurt me!
Stolas : Hurt you? After what you failed to inform me about?!
Stolas : No...I wont hurt you...
Imp Servant : R-really, sire?
Stolas : Having damaged servants would ruin my reputation as a Goetia.
Imp Servant : Oh thank the lords...
Stolas : However...
Imp Servant : Sire?
Stolas then stares directly at the Servant, as their eyes met, the servant quickly turns to stone.
Stolas : You can't very well be considered a servant if you're made of stone, now can you?
He then throws the imp servant statue towards the wall, and the statue crashes and breaks completely until it is nothing more than rubble for the other servants to clean up.
Stolas : Well now that I know where that woman has gone to.
Stolas then opens a portal to the gardens, where he finds Stella completely lost in the fragrance of the flowers.
Stolas : (groan) I swear...
Stolas then approaches Stella.
Stolas : I've been looking all over for you, Stella.
Stolas : Have you any idea how much of my time you've wasted?
Stella still entranced by the flowers hadn't noticed Stolas behind her.
Stolas then gets annoyed again, and puts on an act.
Stolas : (ahem) Oh dear Stella, care to give a passing glance at the your husband?
Stella then finally notices Stolas, of course after he starts acting differently.
Stella : Oh! Stolas dear how long have you been there?
Stolas : Why I only just arrived, I was ever looking for you.
Stolas : Tell me dear, why are you here and not where you should be?
Stella : I was relaxing in our flower garden love, the scent of these flowers are simply exquisite.
Stella : Why not give then a whiff, they should ease whatever might ail you.
Stolas : If this was any other day, I just might agree with you, but not today.
Stolas then changes to a more commanding tone.
