Akira's pov:

6 years... It's been 6 years since I've been kidnapped. 6 years since I've seen outside and 6 years since I've seen my family.

Flash back from 6 years ago...

It was red, everything was red. Blood was everywhere, bodies scattered around the small little village that I lived in, bandits wreaking havoc among the people of my village slaughtering them all one by one.

Me and my family had just about managed to escape the terror and blood of what once was our village. We were running, not stopping, no breaks even though we were all exhausted.  We couldn't risk it. Someone could be following us right that moment and we didn't want to die. Even if we were a bit slow as long as we were running we thought it would be ok. Until I fell.

"Ow," tiny me said while looking at my bloody  knee.

My parents turned around. I expected them to help me but they didn't... Instead they just worriedly stared at me then ran off, leaving me there with no one but the bandit chasing us for our eyes.

That's right, our eyes.

End of flashback

I couldn't take it anymore. 6 years of being here, 6 years of being held in this room for my eyes. I don't get it, it's literally just my eyes, that's the only reason I'm here. Why couldn't they have just picked my eyes out and left me for dead, if they did they would be content with the eyes and I wouldn't suffer here anymore.

No, I'm leaving here today.

It was midnight. I put my ear against the gigantic door and quietly listened. Snoring. They're all sleeping soundly, good. I took out a hair pin I had found coincidentally on the ground a couple weeks ago and started picking at the lock. Once I had unlocked it, I carefully opened the door making sure no noise would emit from the door. I quietly tip toed through the halls of the hide out looking left and right making sure that nobody was around.

Click clack clank

Someone's walking closer.

I quickly used my Chakra to walk up the wall and stick to the ceiling hoping that he wouldn't look up. Yes, just because I was cooped up in here doesn't mean I haven't been given self defense lessons by them just in case.

Phew. He didn't

As I continued wandering through the halls, there it was.

An exit. I had finally found it

Excited, I had run at an immense speed that even I couldn't comprehend how fast I was going. Soon enough I was outside. Finally.

Though I knew that wasn't the only obstacle I would have to face. I had to learn to survive, and find food and water and make a shelter far away from here.

So I ran. I ran and ran and ran. I wasnt going to stop. Never.

After a couple hours of running, the sun began to rise.

'The sun'  I thought.

Soon enough, I had come across a small town that had smelt amazing. The wonderful smell of food filled her nose. Her stomach grumbled as she got closer to the village. It was beautiful, even though it was very early in the morning the stalls were still very lively and all were enthusiastic.

As I was walking around to find some food at one of the stalls, I walked past two interesting people, one who reeked of alcohol and the other who was worried about the alcoholic. I shrugged it off but as I was about to order something, it hit me.

I didn't have ANYTHING. No extra clothes, no food and no MONEY.

I sighed as I looked around incase someone had dropped a little money on the floor so I could eat.

Nothing. I didn't find anything.

At that point I was desperate. I didn't want to beg for food or money from people cause it's shameful and embarrassing, but I also did not want to die. So I found myself, trailing behind the two people I had crossed paths with just waiting for the right moment to ask.

"Um.. excuse me?" I tried asking as I was reaching for the blonde headed girl's shoulder to get her attention.

But before I could comprehend what was happening she turned around suddenly and swung a kick at me which I dodged swiftly and grabbed her leg and pulled her leg up so she would fall.

It didn't really work of course but it did manage to move her quite a bit before she regained her balance.

" S-sorry to interrupt but um.. you see.." I said nervously with a couple of stutters here and there," I'm starving and lost and I have no money so if it's ok with you guys... I would like to borrow some money?? I-ill try to pay you back with any way I can." I explained while looking down.

"Woah," the onyx haired girl said," that was amazing! You dodged Master Tsunade's kick and managed to move her a bit!"

I looked up to see the both of them stunned.

"How old are you little girl?" The blonde headed girl, which I assume her name is Tsunade asked.

"I-im 11 miss Tsunade," I answered.

"Hm.." she replied but looked like she was deep in thought, " okay, I'll buy you food but only if you agree to being my student!"

"Your student?" I asked her.

"Yes, you see I am one of the legendary sannin and I have been looking for a pupil with potential, and you have a lot young girl."

' Legendary sannin huh?' I think I've heard about them before... Oh yeah! Theyre powerful ninja!
Why would she want me though?? Do I really have potential??
And plus I don't really know her and she doesn't know anything about me either...
But something about her seems so calming and comforting that I can't help it.

I pondered there for a little while before answering her.

"Okay," I told her, " but as long as you always pay for my food."

She chuckled, "deal."

After eating food, we began to introduce ourselves and I ended up telling them about my situation. Tsunade looked like she knew something about it but I shrugged it off since I didn't really know anything.

And so that's where my training began!
