Percy Jackson was used to the strange and unexpected. As a demigod, he had faced monsters, gods, and all sorts of supernatural beings. But nothing could have prepared him for the encounter he was about to have.

It was a sunny day in New York City, and Percy was walking down the street, enjoying the warm weather. He was on his way to meet Annabeth at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they were planning to spend the day exploring the exhibits.

As Percy walked, he noticed a figure standing in front of him, blocking his path. The figure was tall and regal, with blond hair and piercing blue eyes. He wore a white tunic and a golden laurel wreath on his head. Percy knew immediately that he was in the presence of a god.

"Hello, Percy Jackson," the god said in a voice that was both commanding and soothing. "I have been waiting for you."

Percy was taken aback. He had never met this god before, but he had a feeling he knew who he was.

"Apollo," Percy said, his voice laced with suspicion. "What do you want?"

"I want to talk to you," Apollo said. "May we walk and talk?"

Percy hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But he decided to hear what the god had to say. After all, he had nothing to lose.

"Sure," Percy said. "Lead the way."

Apollo walked alongside Percy, and they started down the street. The people around them didn't seem to notice the god in their midst, which Percy found strange. But then again, he had learned to expect the unexpected.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Percy asked.

"I want to apologize," Apollo said.

Percy was surprised. "Apologize? For what?"

"For my behavior," Apollo said. "I realize I haven't been the most...pleasant...to you in the past. But I want you to know that I respect you, Percy. You are a powerful demigod, and you have proven your worth time and time again."

Percy was skeptical. He had never trusted the gods completely, and he wasn't about to start now.

"What's the catch?" Percy asked.

"No catch," Apollo said. "I simply want to offer you my friendship. And perhaps more, if you're willing."

Percy's eyes widened. "More?"

"Yes," Apollo said. "I find myself drawn to you, Percy. In ways that I never thought possible."

Percy was speechless. He had never considered the possibility of being attracted to a god, let alone Apollo. But there was something about the god's charm and confidence that was hard to resist.

"I...I don't know what to say," Percy stammered.

"You don't have to say anything," Apollo said. "Just think about it. And know that I will always be here for you, Percy Jackson."

With that, Apollo disappeared in a flash of golden light, leaving Percy standing alone on the sidewalk, wondering what had just happened.

As Percy made his way to the museum, his thoughts were in turmoil. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had just crossed a line, that he had opened a door that he might not be able to close.

But at the same time, he couldn't deny the attraction he felt for Apollo. There was something about the god's confidence and charisma that drew Percy to him, despite his reservations.

When Percy arrived at the museum, he found Annabeth waiting for him at the entrance. She gave him

a curious look, noticing the troubled expression on his face.
