have you ever felt a love so deep
it's affected every part of your being?
my mind filled with rushing thoughts
does he love me?
does he love me, not?
my hopeless heart racing—
threatening to pound it's way
out of my chest that keeps it safe.
hungry eyes ravishing in the sight,
memorizing everything because memories are all that stay
after you go away and the pain
snakes it's way around my heart in a death grip.
when you're near me i can feel my sanity slipping.
knees buckling at your touch,
stomach filled with butterflies.
You are my Achilles heel and my Kryptonite
my greatest weakness is loving you,
yet there's still nothing i'd rather do.
