(I HATE THIS CHAPTER PLEASE HELP)

Ena's POV
I was confused most of the day. MEIKO told me that there were more of her? Why did I feel like I was going to die? Though, I haven't told Mizuki anything yet and they were able to my emotions quickly.

"What's wrong, Ena? You seem more focused today and that's usually not normal."

They were right. I'm usually struggling to pay attention. But I was more focused, easily watching Mizuki build the walls of our house.

"Did something happen with you and Kanade?" they asked again, sounding more jealous surprisingly.

I laughed at their jealousy. "No! Why? Are you mad?"

"No...you just look off task."

"Well...uh...it's complicated."

"Just tell me.." Mizuki stopped building and turned towards me. I wasn't planning on saying anything yet because I thought it wasn't a good time. But Mizuki's voice had a soft tone to it, somewhat gentle like they were really worried about me. Seeing them out of their hyper character sometimes surprised me, I couldn't tear down their concern.

"Um...I saw MEIKO today," I started. Mizuki didn't seemed shocked as they continued to finish the second wall. Our house was halfway built, I'm surprised they had this much experience. "She talked to me today."

"Mhm."

"She told me that she has a sort of connection with you and that there were more hermits like her," I waited for a reply, but Mizuki said nothing so I continued, "She said they all have a connection to us and something probably happened to them."

"I see...don't continue," Mizuki frowned.

"Huh? Why?"

"We've been stressed over the week. I think we should deal with this later."

"But—"

"I'm serious, Ena," Mizuki said more sternly, causing me to go quiet. "If you keep thinking and asking to get no answers, it's going to drive you insane."

I was shocked on how well and accurate they knew my personality. But they were right.

"We should refresh our brains and think about it later. I'll help out to control your little emotions~"

"Okay, okay! Whatever..." I said, flustered. Mizuki laughed before taking a quick break off building. Mafuyu was with Kanade, who was building the materials that Mizuki. What was Mafuyu doing anyway? I didn't care enough to check.

Me and Mizuki eventually went hunting for a while. We didn't go too far and I could see that Mizuki wasn't worried about the last time we went hunting. I wasn't either, which was why I was focused on Mizuki's emotions. I had the need to explain something to them. Was it MEIKO? Maybe not. I don't know.

Mizuki would laugh about how we walked in on Mafuyu and Kanade that one time. I kind of wanted to see if Mafuyu had the confidence to actually kiss Kanade, but we were too excited and ended up ruining the moment. Mizuki found it hysterical. They would laugh about Mafuyu's embarrassed face when they brought it up to her, I honestly wish I saw.

"Well, we know how Mafuyu thinks of Kanade..." I smiled. Mizuki nodded.

"Yeah! I thought they were just close friends."

"Yeah. Hey Mizuki?"

"Hm?"

"What.." I got pretty nervous, "What do you think of me?"

That caused a huge silence and us walking slower. I felt guilty at first but the question popped into my head and now I want an answer. Back in the cabin, they did kiss me, right? Or was that just a silly imagination?
