"I'm a part of a corporation called Umbrella, but it's not what you think. It's called the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service. Our group specializes in rescue operations during biohazard outbreaks. That's why I was sent over to the Raccoon City Police Department, to look for more survivors," Anya explains, her arms crossed over her chest.
"What's Umbrella?" Leon asks.
"All I know is that it 'creates pharmaceuticals' as an act to cover up what they have been doing. I think they make viruses that turn everyone here into monsters," Anya answers.
"So what you're saying is that Umbrella caused all this mess?" Leon inquires.
"I don't doubt it," Anya replies.
"I worked as a trained spy in Russia before joining the service, and that is how they found me," Anya tells Leon.
"Well that explains how efficiently you took out those zombies," Leon states.
"My captain sent me here on his orders to clean up Umbrella's mess and find any remaining survivors. That's my objective," Anya tells Leon truthfully.
"I'll stand by you. Thanks for being honest with me," Leon tells Anya with a smile.
She nods. "Of course, Leon," she returns the expression.
"So how did you come into town?" Anya asks Leon, nudging his arm.
"My ex-girlfriend broke up with me. Then, I received a phone call to stay away from here. Then, I met Claire at a gas station and we ended up at the police station," Leon states.
Anya nods, wondering who would ever break up with Leon.
"Alright, story time is over. Let's go," Anya orders, getting off the table.
Leon laughs at her quick dismissiveness and determination, following her.
The pair exit the room and take an elevator, descending to the underground area.
Anya and Leon enter a room filled with smoke and various pipes. They walk on the metal walkway, keeping their guard up. Suddenly, Leon and Anya hear loud footsteps from above.
"What the--!?" Leon exclaims in awe.
They enter a large room, and the duo lifts the huge shelf out of the doorway. Suddenly, a mutated monster man thing jumps down in front of them.
