*Nico's Point of View
After the encounter, I was walking around looking for Ella, when I suddenly heard her shout:
"G-get off me! Stop it Ate it hurts!"
She called their SPL, Ate? I-is this, r-real world?
"It hurts? Really? Ever wondered how I felt when dad left us, huh? You. You and your slut mom are the reason why he left us!"
What is happening? I don't understand!
"Don't you ever call my mom a slut."
"Oh, shut up! Coz it is true. She is a slut. Malandi yang nanay mo!"
Then she slapped her SPL.
"Remember this, Ella. We are not over yet. And let me remind you, I AM YOUR SPL."
As SPL Chavez walked away, Ella came resting her back on a wall while sliding down.
In short, as many of us call it: WALLING.
She is crying, of course, for goodness' sake! Her mom just has been called a slut!
With no doubts in my mind, I ran unto her and comforted her. I didn't ask her if she is OK because obviously, she is not. I just let her head rest in my shoulders while she cries.
I felt her sadness and fear go through me, I felt her tears in my polo shirt, I had goosebumps.
She looked at me and asked:
"Did you hear anything?"
"Yes. I did."
"Please don't tell anyone, OK?"
"Yes, I won't."
"Pinky swear?" As she raised her pinky.
"Pinky Swear." As I connected mine to hers.
She rest her head in my shoulders and continued crying.
I grabbed a bottle water in my bag and gave it to her. I also gave her my hanky so she could wipe herself up.
After that I grabbed her bag and stood her up.
I asked her if I could drop her home, and she agreed.
On the way home, I asked her:
"Will you tell your mother about this?"
"I don't know."
"If I were you, you should let her know."
"Why is that so?"
"For her to... uhm, know? I guess."
"Tsss."
So I dropped her home and before she entered the gate, she came to me and said
"Thank you. You are the best."
And she hugged me so tight for like 5 seconds and she entered their gate.
I went home and went straight to my bedroom.
Oh well, I guess my Best Friend Duties are over for today.
