The creator of Relic of the future is Coeur Al'Aran, all credits for the Story go to him, I'm just building from there, go read it if you haven't and then come back to read this.
With that over, here's the chapter.
Enjoy.
Paradox -Mystic POV-
The chapter was now finished, and in its wake it left a swirling pool of emotions in some people that needed to be addressed before they could even begin with the next chapter.
For starter we have-
"Shut up already!" Vernal shouted, she had been listening to Mercury constantly speak about the last part of last chapter for a good while, most likely because watching the fight that took place and it's bloody trail was some of the only excitement he's got since getting to this place.
Of course the bandit got tired of that eventually, and since they were seating relatively close she was the one who had to stand him, as Emerald and Cinder were having...a conversation.
"no, this is the only actual interesting shit that's happened, I'ma fucking talk about it all I want" was the response she got from the silver haired assassin,
"ugh! You're horrible, just fucking shut up" in the end the patience contest they had going on ended up with Vernal getting to tired of Mercury to even try to argue back anymore.
They continued to argue for some time, but even with all of this noise taken into account the mood was still somewhat trough the floor.
Closer in place than ever since the begging of the viewing a group made from teachers and Students was formed, the Rose-Xiao-Long family being excluded from this as they were having their moment.
But even as they were close together, nobody tried to break their already settled groups as they were taking this time to talk about the general thought they had on the situation with those they were most comfortable around.
The overall chapter hadn't been that much of a trip of emotion to the team JNPR specially, the small happy moments whenever Jaune was simply being himself or when he reminisced of their time together in Beacon had brought a smile to their faces.
Knowing that even after maturing, after what he lived, that he was still the Jaune Arc they had as their leader.
Of course, It's what came afterwards that was so conflicting, the part that really showed that even if it was Jaune, he was not exactly as similar as they thought he was.
"...He really did it..." the most horrified by the literal carnage the Arc made was Pyrrha, in all the time she had trained him, fought alongside him and laughed with him, her partner, she never thought to see him use the same skill she taught him, used against people in such a way.
A tired sigh from Ren got her attention as she saw him push his hair back in frustration. "Jaune did what he thought was best...he's older and has lived through horrible things, this is probably normal for him" Ren didn't like it, the sight was horrifying and made him feel sick, blood splattered everywhere and corpses on the ground.
It almost felt like it was straight out of a nightmare, only the absence of Grimm made it tame...no, maybe it was the lack of Grimm what made it horrible, the fact that was all done with human hands.
"this was the kind of thing we'd have to do eventually as huntsmans" it was the truth, but it didn't mean Ren had to like it.
Nora, surprisingly enough, remained mostly unaffected, sure the initial shock had her completely stunned and perturbed, but this was her fearless leader they were talking about, he wasn't bad or evil and Nora wouldn't doubt him.
