"Trust is where all betrayal started"
NO ONE POV
Cale was kicked out from his relatives house and was technically homeless. Fortunately, his old friend, Eric Wheelsman was generous to let him stay at his resident. Many people does not like the idea very much.
Count Wheelsman have no problems with him staying at his house as he doesn't really believe in what the other people said about Cale. He knows that Cale was known for his trashy act for quite a few years but he still sees Cale as he was before the trashy act begins.
Countess Wheelsman on the other hand is opposed by the idea of letting someone with such a horrible reputation in the current moment. Who in the right mind let a man that's suspected to be involved in a sexual assault and a murder?
Countess Wheelsman doesn't want her family reputation to be tarnished. But her son and husband are unfortunately very oblivious in her opinions. They are too softhearted to the 'boy' they used to know.
So she would let it go, for now.
In his stay in the Count Wheelsman house, Cale doesn't really go out or anything, he just stays in his room to avoid getting in trouble because his current situation. He would act like a trash like always if only his reputation isn't an accused assaultet and a suspected murderer.
Though, he would sometimes went out to take a walk in the garden or just walk around the mansion, out of people views.
A few months have passed, the royalty have arranged a ball for the Queen birthday. Everyone was invited, including Cale. Eric and Count Wheelsman was thrilled to hear that Cale will be going with them too!
Though some people weren't so thrilled about it....
NIGHT OF THE QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY
The Wheelsman arrived along with Cale, in a different carriage. When he stepped out all eyes were on him, some were pitiful, some are spiteful and some are almost deadly.
Especially from his 'family'. Their gaze were the most suffocating, it was as if they wanted him gone but couldn't so as it is not their place to do so.
Besides that, he can't help but felt eerie, as if someone is watching him. Yes, almost everyone is staring at him but he can't help but feel restless for some reason. He keeps on looking around carefully so no one noticed how restless he is right now.
His restlessness almost make him didn't realise the royal court was shouting.
"-Her highness the Queen!" Everyone clapped as she came down with her gorgeous gown that is cover with gold and blue laces. Everyone wishes her for good life and things like that. (A/N I'm not good at this sorry)

ERIC POV
I was worried that Cale will be the center of attention when he arrives but fortunately, God answered my prayer and all the attention are on the Queen.
Ever since he was framed with assaulting his cousin and murdering his uncle, he became obviously quiet. Before, almost everyone in the Henituse territory hates him because of how he acted and now the whole kingdom wanted him gone because of his supposedly crime.
Despite all of that, I refused to believe he would do that. The Cale I know isn't like that. Yes, he was kind of an alcoholic asshole but he used to be one of the sweetest kid i know back then.
It took me a while but I convinced Amiru and Gilbert to stay with Cale. I was kind of hurt that they believes the lies over the truth about Cale. Though, I'm grateful they still willing to be with Cale.
