Sakura's POVI was tapping on my computer when I leaned back against my office chair. I let out a light sigh as I turned my chair around to look out the glass wall. It was already dark out and I could see cars driving left right. I also noticed people gathering down in town. I looked at them a little longer in curiosity. "Oh right! The autumn festival was next week!" I said smiling. My smiling soon dropped as I thought back to when I used to date Daiki...
"Hey, the autumn festival is happening downtown! Do you wanna go!" I asked as I peeked around the corner. Daiki was sitting in his little office in our shared apartment. It wasn't anything fancy but he seemed happy with it. Daiki looked at me with a small smile as he quickly turned off his computer. "Oh... that's today?" He asked quietly. I nodded in response. I was hopping to go with him since we went last year and had fun. "Sorry Saku... I have a business with someone later today." He said tapping his index finger against the wooden table.
He usually did this when he was nervous but I just thought he was stressed out from working so much. These last few days he's been staying later at work and arriving home late at night. "Oh, don't worry about it. We can always go another time... I'll just go pick up some groceries then." I said giving him a slight smile. He flashed me one in return and I left.
I went to go buy some groceries from the store for dinner tonight but before arriving at the market I walked past the festival on my way.I was a bit hesitant to go because I had originally wanted to go with Daiki. "I guess a little visit would hurt." I said as walked the opposite direction the market. The weather was getting cooler as I breathed out and seeing a slight white cloud escape my lips. The light that were contacted to the street lights turned on so people could see better. Autumn was my favorite weather. No too cold but not to hot. I loved to see the fall outfits people wore. Turtle necks, coats, boats, and beanies.
I on the other hand didn't have any of that. I just wore a black zip up jackets and sweatpants. My hair was tied back in a low bun but since my hair was short some piece fell out to the side of my face. My round glasses slightly falling at the bridge of my nose. I was to distracted at looking at other people that I didn't notice someone running my direction. Before the both of us collided together I noticed someone who I could have sworn was Daiki... with some girl that was very familiar. Before I could make them out I was on the ground with my glasses nocked off my face.
"I'm so sorry! I was in such a rush I didn't notice you!" A female voice echoed as I frantically scattered my hands around the cold cement street floor. "I-It's alright. I should have have payed more attention myself." I said. She reached for my glasses and placed them back onto my face. I quickly looked over to where I was previously look at. They were gone... I shook off the strange feeling inside. "Hey, You're Haruno Sakura? I'm in your business class!" She said smiling at me. She helped my stand back up and I dusted the dust off my jacket. "Hi, I'm Hyuga Hinata! 3rd year junior." She said as she bowed to me. I bowed back.
I studied her features closely. She had long black hair. Her eyes were soft hollow white eyes with a light purple ring that you can hardly notice. She had a small slim face. Rosé cheeks from the cold. "It was nice meeting you. Let's catch up some other time." She said before running off again and waving goodbye. I smiled and waved back. This was the first real time I meet Hinata.
I closed my eyes as I spun back to face my computer. I slowly opened my eyes and across my room sat a white gran piano. My mom set me up to learn piano and I was amazing I won't lie. I haven't played these past few years because of my tight schedule. I remember the first time when I was 6 hearing my mom play. I loved how her fingers danced around on the keys making heavenly music from it. I got up from my chair walking over to the piano running my fingers against the keys gently not not make a sound.
