Wishes & Command

[A/n: I didn't know where to place y/n in the normal episode so I made something up it's almost like Rei's birthday episode. Enjoy!]

[Y/n] got dressed in a slim black dress and did her hair. She didn't know what to expect today. Her mother suddenly summoned her after months of not speaking to her. [Y/n] sighed. Trying to predict her mother's intentions was driving her crazy. She didn't want to leave. [Y/n] wanted to be there to pick up Miri from daycare.

Kazuki was downstairs folding clothes while watching the news, and Rei was working out. "But our Miri would never. Right?" Kazuki muttered, "Of course, the other mothers all say the same about their kids."

"'Other mothers'" Rei repeated.

"Hey. What'll we do if Miri breaks bad?"

"You're the one to talk." Rei said, continuing with his workout.

"I'm exactly the one to talk. Look at me! Parental abandonment is the reason I turned out this way!" Kazuki said, "Parental influence is so crucial, isn't it? Right! As Miri's parental figure, I gotta be attentive!"

"What are you gonna do?" Rei questioned.

"All of it! Absolutely all of it!"

"Do your best."

"Aw, thanks... Wait, you gotta do it, too!"

[Y/n] smiled a little overhearing the conversation as she walked down the stairs. "I'm sure with me as her mother, Miri will be fine." [Y/n] chimed in. The two men looked at her, seeing her all dressed up.

"You're really going, huh?" Kazuki asked.

"It's not like I have much of a choice." [Y/n] said, "I have to do what my mother says."

Rei looked at her with an unreadable expression. "How long will you be gone?" Kazuki asked.

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick up Miri this afternoon. But, I'll bring home some cake to celebrate tomorrow." [Y/n] said, cheerfully.

"Tomorrow?"

[Y/n] pouted. "Seriously?" She muttered and crossed her arms, "I'm not loved here." She fake cried. 

"[Y/n]..." Rei said, making [Y/n] look at him. He opened his mouth to say something then he closed it. "...Nothing."

[Y/n] grinned. "Try not to miss me too much." She said and walked to the door. "Give Miri a big hug for me." She said before leaving.

"So much for your reservation tonight." Kazuki said while Rei still stared at the door, hoping [Y/n] would walk back in saying she changed her mind.

Rei never liked [Y/n]'s mother. She was a wicked woman who only cared about their family's status. "Earth to Rei~" Kazuki said waving his phone in his face. It was a photo of [Y/n] and Rei cuddling together the night that Miri wanted them all to sleep together.

Rei snatched the phone and deleted the picture. "Eh? Are you blushin'?"

[Y/n] stepped out of the black car and looked at the manor in front of her. Her heart was pounding. She was nervous facing her mother again for the first time after she left the manor in search of Rei.

[Y/n] took a breath and made her face stoic and expressionless. She made sure to change her screensaver on her phone from Rei and Miri to a generic screensaver of the Tokyo skyline.

Security checked her for weapons and cleared her to come through. [Y/n] could see the boss through his office window.

Rei's father. Though her father and Rei's father were good friends in the past, she's never like Rei's father. He was such a hardcore man. She often had to treat Rei's wounds that were caused by him. [Y/n] sincerely hoped that she didn't have to speak to him.
