We finally found a place and all sat down, I was sitting between Tara and Ethan with my ice cream. Mindy stands up in front of us and starts talking about the rules
"Which leads me to Ethan," she turns towards him "you are at the top of my suspect list." She points, I roll my eyes and finish my ice cream as Ethan starts talking I get up and walk to a trash can to throw my cup away
"Am I a target?" Ethan asks as I walk back, I sit back down, facing him. He looks at me and then everyone else "am I gonna die a virgin." Everyone ignores his comment and starts talking about the last ghostfaces
"Oh come on amber was Tara's best friend and Richie," Mindy pauses "Richie was a little bitch boy who had Amber do all the hard work." As she finishes talking I noticed both Tara and Ethan become uncomfortable with her comments
"Mindy why are we talking about them? That was the last one not the current, there's no reason for them to be apart of the conversation. Plus they're both dead." I say trying to help the two but I think I did the opposite
"That's exactly why! Especially Amber, her body was never found." Mindy says looking at Tara
"What!" Tara says becoming even more tense then before "why didn't you tell us?"
"I told Sam to tell you, when you didn't ask I just thought you didn't want to talk about it." Mindy looks at Sam
I look at Ethan and he looks at me and gives me a comforting smile
"I was protecting you!" Sam argues with her sister
"By not telling me my best friend might be alive?" Tara questions
"She tried to kill us!" Sam's comment makes everyone look down
"Maybe she was forced? Manipulated by Richie." I suggest, Tara gestures to me to Sam with a I told you so kinda look
"Guys we're getting off topic." Mindy tries to get everyone's attention but Sam and Tara continue to argue "Guy! Ella might be in danger!"
"What?" I ask
"Mindy, what do you mean?" Sam asks looking at me
"She's in danger the same reason you are Sam. She's Stu Macher's daughter, but they don't know for sure what side you're on, they might try and recruit you, you know?" Mindy explains
Of course my dad has come back again to bite me in the ass. Fuck you dad for not being a normal teenager.
"Couldn't we use that then?" Chad asks
"No? They might kill her when they find out what side she's on."
"Yea I'm not letting her go into danger of any kind." Ethan admits "what if me and her go back to the dorm and stay low?"
"That might work, but who's to say they won't attack you there?" Tara says looking at me
"Or stop Ethan if I'm right." Mindy adds
"I'm not the killer! Plus I would never hurt Ella." Ethan defends himself, I grab his hand and hold it in my lap, he lets go of my hand places it on my inner thigh
"So what are we doing about Ella?" Chad asks
"You and Ethan stay at the apartment for a couple hours. Tonight we gonna try and find ghostface." Sam decides
"Do we need to go straight to the dorm or can we make a stop?" I ask
"You can make a stop." Sam responds
"Before you go can I talk to you Ella?" Tara comments, I nod and stand up we walk away and sit in a bench
"Do you have siblings?" Tara asks looking at her hands, fidgety. I noticed
"I had a sister. Younger. My mom put her up for adoption though. I guess she couldn't handle having two children of a murder."
"She's Stu's as well?"
"Yea," I smile. I know there's something behind her question but I never get to talk about my sister "she had the most beautiful hair, it was a gorgeous dark brown it almost looked black." I laugh
"She sounds amazing."She smiles "wait but your hair is like blonde ish?"
"She probably is. But when we found out she was missing I got into a deep depression, I did a lot of things I regret but I also got my hair done." I bite my inner cheek
"I'm sorry if this is to much but what was her name?" She asks as if she's dead
"Her name was Amanda but she told everyone to call her something after she left. Why?"
"Just wondering but anyway that's all stay safe." She smiles at me.
I get up and look at Ethan, he looks at me and stands up holding his hand out for mine, I smile as I grab his hand
"What was that about?" He asks
"She was asking about my sister." I shrug
On Campus
I never realized how beautiful my college campus was until now, I look around while we walked. I look at Ethan and he looks at me and smiles
"Your gorgeous." He says, his eyes glisten in the sun so perfectly I forget where I am. I smile
He grabs the door to our building and opens it, a group of people walk out then we go in. I walk into the gift shop
"Ella! We need to go to the dorm!" Ethan reminds me while standing at the doorway
"Sam said we could make a stop." I smile, he playfully rolls his eyes and walks over to me. I grab a teddy bear and show him. "Look how cute this is!" I look up at him, he laughs
"Your adorable."
"I try." I shrug, we grab a bag of chocolate and go to the checkout
"Just these two?" The woman asks, I nod and pull out my wallet "alright that'll be $10.60." The woman reads, I hand her the money and grab the bag
"Keeps the change." I say smiling
"Have a nice day." She waves
"You too!" I call out. We walk out and walk down the hallway to the elevator
