A makeshift Camp made for 2, filled with elf siblings Tegan and Ester, the two sit outside across each other on logs surrounding a small wood plank fire. With Tegan sharping one of his assassin blades with a rock and Ester making lines in the dirt with her arrow. Ester looks up at her brother, placing her arrow back in her holder. She tapped her fingers on her legs, a face of brief frustration and annoyance followed.

" Are you just going to act like that didn't happen?"

Tegan then looked up, clearly frustrated. He tossed his sharpening rock behind him and placed his blade back between his side and his belt.

" What?"

" What do you mean what?"

Tegan scoffed, turning himself around on the log to grab his second blade. Grabbing a different, and smaller rock he began sharping his second blade.

" You used both!? Tegan-"

Ester stood up in protest. now fully frustrated with her brother. She walked up, snatched her brother's blade and threw it to the dirt.

" Hey- wh-, What the Hell!"

" Fuck, Tegan! don't expect me to forget what I just saw you do!"

Tegan remained seated but flaying his arms in protest and turning his head up to Ester.

" What do you want me to do!? uh? I can't bring him back!"

" But you still did it! Damm it! why'd you'd do it?"

Tegan now stood himself up in protest, his arms flaying in frustration as he stood.

" i-i"

Tegan paused himself, now terrified. He couldn't tell her the real reason, he wouldn't. He'd lose his sister, he'd break her trust, she'd would hate him- He thought of a lie.

" It- It was an assignment-"

" My god- A Assignment!? Who in their right mind would assign you to kill Father, Uh? Mother in her sure mind wouldn't-"

Tegan looked down, looking rather ashamed. Playing into his lie

" R- Right?"

Tegan let out a hushed sigh, his feet shuffling below him as he sat back on the log

" N-no. It wasn't Mother- it was anonymous. "

Ester let out a sigh of relief, mixed with her overwhelming emotions. She then broke. Broke down in tears for her father, for he was good to her, could do no wrong in her eyes. So, Who'd want him dead? And from an anonymous assignment made for her brother? sketchy.... She fell to her knees, dropping her arrow pack and bow to the dirt. Tegan leaped from his log, diving knee first to embrace his sister. He Started off with a hug.

" If it helps- I didn't want to- "

Tegan pulled her face away from her hands.

" But i- i saw you- You just kept going- you'd wouldn't stop-"

Tegan went silent, not knowing what to say. That he meant to do it? He wasn't the man Ester thought and saw him for? that he had to do it for her safety? he couldn't, He couldn't bare himself to tell her. Not like this- he said all he could think of-

" I-I'm sorry-"

With her head away from her hand, she looked up to Tegan. Her eyes clouded white as she still remained not in control of her emotions. She embraced her brother back with hug, now sobbing into his outfit, her teardrops falling down to the dirt like rain as Tegan slightly picked her up off her feet, helping her to stand.

" Why don't you go to bed, ok? We have to move in the morning-"

Ester sniffled, nodding her head. She picked up her bow and arrow pack and walked to her tent. She placed her stuff inside and shut the cloth behind her. Quickly, Tegan picked up his blade that was tossed on the dirt earlier, grabbing his other from his side, making a dash to a tall bush. He made it, then froze. He was gone. The Father's body was gone... All that was behind was the blood-stained dirt. He bent down, Frightened. He then spotted dirt tracks. Barefoot, they had been seen down the dirt. He turned around, threw his blades to the ground with anger and let out a yell.

" Damm it!"

He then silently composed himself, picked up his blades and made his way to his tent. he shut the cloth behind him, placing his blades to the side and laying in his 'sleeping bag'.
