Chapter 2

Liams pov

1 hour earlier

Me and the boys were now sitting in the car, on our way to Chloe's house in America.

A week ago we had finished our world tour, so now we had plenty of free time, wich was good because several concerts in a row and screaming fans can be really tiring. And because the boys didn't have anything planned, they tagged along. So that we all could hang out more, they were also eager to meet Chloe that I talk very much about, well the boys say that anyway.

With all the free time I now had,I decieded that I was gonna see my best friend again.

We hadn't talked for a year, I had been really busy, lost her phone number and I don't know what more.

But I had missed her so much that it hurt!

I had gotten pretty shocked when I got the information that Chloe had moved to America.



Flashback:

Everyone was sitting around the big dinnertable.

My parents had picked us all up from the airport, and home to my dear home town Wolverhampton.

We had talked a bit about tour, and my mother had ofcours showed some embarrasing pictures of me when I was little, wich ofcourse the boys thougt was helaurius!

"This is Chloe , right?", Niall asked as he held a picture of a little girl, in a yellow sun dress holding a lollipop with a smirk plastered on her face, around the age of 8 years old.

Yeah the boys knew who Chloe were. The have never met her, but they have seen several pictures of her from when she was little to a year ago, and to not forget I talk about her all the time, well the boys say I do.

"Liam?", Harry waved a hand infront of my face.

"What? Yeah that's Chloe", I answered as soon as I had snapped out of my thoughts.

"Isn't she adorable"?, my mother said,

"Oh she is super cute!", all the boys agreed.

I smiled, Chloe meant a lot to my familly, well we are relatives.

But she is like a daughter to mum and dad, and a sister to me and my older sisters, who by the way is in Paris.

"By the way, how is Chloe?", I asked directing the question torward my mom.

"Well she has moved to America", she said without even ansewring my question.

I choked on my water, "what"!!, I managed to get out.

Zayn hit me slightly on the back, and it actually helped.

"Thanks", I said and gave him a reasurring smile.

"She moved about 3 months ago, when..." dad said but got interupted.

"No Geoff, not know", my mother said. "It's better if we let her tell the story"

"What story?!" "Is she going to die or something?", I pannicked and stood up.

All the boys looked worried.

"Liam she is not going to die, she is alive and all, now please calm down and finish your last vegetables".

At this all the boys laughed.

" Yeah Liam finish your vegetables so you can become a big boy, Louis said.

At this everyone laughed, even I couldn't hold the laughter in.

***End of flashback***

Two days after we had arrived at my parents house, we had left for America.

I had gotten the adress to were Chloe was now living.

I thought that it was a little bit strange, that she had moved.

I know that her father was from America, but I knew that he loved it in Wolverhampton.

And also what was wrong? my parents avoided auestions about Chloe and why she had moved. They said that, Chloe was the one who should tell me.

But tell me what?

We arrived infront of a big manshion.

The house (or more like manishion), was white with a big garden at the front, you could also see that they had a tennis court.

"Wow, it's huge, her family must be billioners", Niall said with his mouth open.

"Well they are, I laughed." But this "house" is actually smaller then their last one. "

"No way", Harry said schoked.

"Yes way", I said as I opened the car door.

You could hear loud music playing, also some kareoke, and people laughing and talking loud.

"Seems like there is a party", Zayn said a smirk plasterd on his face.

"It's her birthday today, it's the party of the year", I said.

"Wow this girl has it all", Louis said looking quit amazed.

"Come on boys, put on your sunglasses, I said as I put on mines.

"Looks like people have gotten pretty drunk, Harry said as we walked thrue the party un noticed"

"Yeah Chloe is a little party animal herself, almost more worse than you", I chuckeld.

"God I love this girl all ready haha", Harry said showing of his dimples"

I just shock my head and smiled.

"But she is also a very good host, and dosen't get to drunk on her own party, so that she can make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves".

"I get why you are so fond of her, mate", Louis said, the others nodded.

"But Li li, how do you think she will react, if you just show up out of nowere, after no contact at all?",Niall asked.

"I don't know mate, I don't know", I sighed.

Then I saw her. I stopped dead in my tracks.

"What is it Liam?" , Zayn asked but then anserewd his on question. "You sure that's really her?" Zayn said, as me and the boys studied her from behind.

She wore a light blue strapless, gorgues dress, her hair was in it's naturall waves and she was slightly taller with her high heels on, even from behind she looked gorgeus.

I took a deep breath, before taking a step forward.

"Chloe", I said.

She froze, than slowly she turned and faced me, her face showed so many mixed emotions,that I couldn't read it. Before, I had always been able to see her emotions even if she tried to hide them, I could read her like an open book.

But now something was different, sure she was more gorgues then ever but something was missing.

***Louis POV***

"Chloe", Liam said.

I could see how she froze in her tracks, and then slowly turned around.

It was like I had walked in to a wall, she was so beautiful, I had never in my whole life seen such a beautiful girl.

I looked at the boys who had reacted just the way I had, they were also starring at the beautiful girl.

After a moment we collected are selves and stopped STARRING at her.

"I know Liam said that she was a modell, or had done some modelling.

But he didn't tell us that she was SO HOT!", Harry whispered. We all just nodded, agreeing.

Her eyes filled with tears as he wrapped her in a hug.

"L-liam" she stuttered.

"Shh it's okay love, it's okay, he whispered.

She let go of him, and stepped out from his embrace.

She had tears running down her cheeks, wich she quickly wiped away, also Liam had cried a little.

"How, why, how...? She closed her mouth.

"I have missed you so much Chloe!", Liam said.

"Yeah I think so to Liam, she said in a sarcastic way" "You missed me so much that you couldn't send me a text, give me a phone call or even an email?", she said hurt.

"Please Chloe let me explain", Liam tried.

"Explain what Liam? Explain why you couldn't even come to my dads funural, your uncles funural?", she said sobbing hard, she was even shaking.

All i wanted to do was to wrap her in my arms, but I couldn't.

"W-w-w what", Liam said his voice shaiking low.

She turned around and ran away.

Liam just stood there.

"He's dead?", Liam said just above a whisper.

Zayn wrapped an arm around Liam, and Liam started crying on Zayns shoulder.

"C'mon lads we have to get him out of here before anyone notice us", Harry said.

We started walking through the crowds of dancing people.

We sat Liam down on a chair on the other side of the house, we didn't have much of a choice, our ride here was gone by now.

Liam was sobbing hard now, we hugged him and tried to comfort him.

After ca 45 minutes Liam had stopped crying.

"How could I?", Liam said and looked down.

"It's not your foult mate", Niall comforted.

"OFCOURSE IT'S MY FOULT!!", Liam stood up and shouted at him.

Niall flinched.

"Don't shout at him, Liam", a voice spoke from behind.

We turned around and saw Chloe standing by the five stairs up to the massive front doors.

Liam walked towards her. "I'm so sorry Chloe bear, I.." "I know Lili, I know, she said and walked down the steps slowly. She was still wearing her dress and stilletos.

She hugged him tight. "We can talk about it later",she said as she gave him a peck on the cheek.

He smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"So I guess it's time to introduce you to the boys he said.

We all smiled. It was cute how they were so close, I wish I had someone like that.
