It's my birthday today. I have got a lot of wishes from everyone. But the wish I liked the most is Parker's wish. He wished me exactly at midnight and I was so happy that he remembered my birthday. I think it's the best Birthday of my life.
God!! Do I have a chance with him? Can he also like me the same way I like him?

Calm down Rhea, you need to calm the fuck down. He just started acknowledging you few days ago don't jump on him right now.
So without any thoughts about Parker, I got up from my bed, did my morning routine and went to school.
After going downstairs my family wished me happy birthday and we all had our breakfast and left the house.
In school, when I entered the class Pearl started singing the happy birthday song for me and I smiled at her "Ok Pearl. Be quiet now. Shush."
Pearl pouted and ask "Why? It's your birthday" I smiled at her and sat on my seat.
"I know it's my birthday but we don't have to tell the whole world about it." I told her as a matter-of-fact.
She sighed and kept her head on desk said "Ihateitwhenyouandparkerbotharealwaysright."
"What?" I asked her.
She did her head up and said "I hate it when you and Parker both are always right."
I looked at her with shocked expression. What have I done in which me and him are same?
"And what does that have to do with him?" I asked her
She then looked behind me and smiled "It's just that he is my safe place. I tell him everything and whenever I tell him anything, he always gives me a lecture and I hate it beacause he is always right and then I need to listen to him and blah blah blah."
I looked at him who was sitting in front of us leaving two rows in between and then at her "I don't think I should say this but I am a little jealous of both of you." She raised her eyebrow at that "Means you guys have such a great friendship and look at me I don't even have a best friend."
She just laughed "You think him and I have a great friendship. Wake up Rhea. We fight a lot. Will you believe me if I say we have started talking again after five months. From last five months we were not talking with each other." For that I wanted to ask why but she spoke before I could answer "It's because we both are so different and had always fought a lot. We have always been friends, there was a time he used to like me but I told him that I want to be friends with him and he agreed but sometimes when we fight, we don't talk to each other. He is my friend but how much in my life he has made me cry no one has ever." Then she smiled at me "And about your best friend thing, I will be your best friend." She said putting her hand on my shoulder and I smiled at her.

At lunch we sat together again "So birthday girl where is my treat?" Parker asked me and I don't know how to reply to him because I have never talked to him and I am always so nervous around him.
Before I could speak Madson spoke "Come on bro she is not replying I don't think she brought her pocket money to treat us."
Before anyone could speak up, pearl spoke up for me. "Then you give us treat Madson." I heard Pearl telling him. I was on verge of crying but then Pearl hold my hand and squeeze it.
"I was not talking to you." He said
"But you are talking to my best friend. Mind your language and the way to talk whenever you talk to her. Otherwise I will just punch you." She stood up and looked at me "Let's go to washroom." I nodded and stood up and we both got out of lunch hall.
When we were on our way Pearl stopped and looked at me. She raised her eyebrow at me "What?" I asked.
"Come on Rhea you like that asshole and you didn't even tell me." I clenched my fits at my side.
"Like whom?" I asked innocently.
She shaked her head and looked at me "You like Parker right?" I was going to deny it but she beat me at it "Don't you dare to deny it. If you like him that's ok. I won't judge you."
I sighed and nodded my head "Yes I like him. I have liked him since I saw him the first time."
Pearl nodded her head "Look Rhea I know our friendship is not that strong yet but I want to say one thing to you." I asked her to continue "Parker being Parker will never understand you. I know I am his friend I should support you both but believe me when I say that he will never like you back and it would be great for you too to stop that right now because he is a toxic person and I don't think he believes in relationship that much. Rest is your choice, I am not being a bitch in between both of you." She smiled and went inside washroom.
I repeated Pearl's wording in my mind and I don't know what but I don't want to give up without trying.
