The school week came to an end and I was getting ready for my mum's funeral when I heard a knock on the door. I ran downstairs and Emilia was already standing there she said it was for me. I went to the door to see who it was and it was Jack. He said he wanted to come to the funeral to support me and that if u struggled on my speech he would help.
Lots of people were now arriving at the funeral place. I saw Emilia's boyfriend Lewis and went over to see why he was here. He said he came to see if Emilia was ok so I showed him were she was. Abbie showed up and I ran and gave her a huge hug.
I was so glad to see her because on Thursday she had to go home because she broke her arm.
Her arm was still in a cast but it means everything to me that she made it.
The funeral started and I couldn't stop crying Jack put his arms around me and gave me a hug. Emilia was crying to so Lewis gave her a hug. When I was done I gave Abbie a hug and went up to do my speech but I just couldn't handle it I dropped to the floor I couldn't handle going up in a crowd like that and especially at my mum's funeral. All of my friends ran up to me to help me up I wouldn't budge.
