Alina huffed out in annoyance as she dropped the pictures of her wearing various sleek and glamorous outfits for the shoot she did for Vogue a few days back on her coffee table. She was stressed to say the least. Anybody could tell they were perfect and preached themselves but to her, it felt like she could've done more and better. That's the downside of being a model and having almost every friend as a photographer. She sat back in her black leather chair with her palms covering her face as she let out some deep breaths due to being tired. It was already turning afternoon and she was yet to select twenty photos she felt were good to her manager for the magazine's issue. "This is so fucking hard", she muttered to herself. "I agree" the deep voice belonging to her brother's spoke from where he stood leaning on the door frame of her office room which was in her house itself. 

She didn't even have to look up at his expressions to know how much he agreed with his sister's opinion, after all he was a model too. "Please tell me you got me coffee, Jeoff" "No... but, I did get you boba if that helps." he said nervously not wanting to experience his younger sister's wrath. "Anything will do at this point." she replied as she sat straight to rub her eyes and saw her brother take a seat next to hers as he examined the lose sheets that greeted the Maudet siblings. "Still stuck on the cosmetic shoots?" Jeoff asked her. "Nah, its the Vogue shoot, the photographer literally sent every second of the shoot like, look at this... my face is literally covered by the dress sleeve. Could've at least filtered 'em out." she complained. "This is like a fifty of them" he examined but the older Maudet just scoffed at her brother in response. "I got rid of about seventy by now." she commented as she pointed her head at the crumpled pieces of paper piled in the corner of the office. The younger Maudet could only give her a sympathetic look. 

The girl had always been one to push herself the hardest to make the best out of our efforts. She had been called a perfectionist by many high profile celebrities, her co- models, crew, magazine editors and interviewers but what they all failed to notice were the small but significant specks of her imperfections which only she saw in herself. Only Jeoff and her few close friends knew how much she had been through this entire year- a very public break up with Neymar Jr and she lost her childhood best friend to an accidental drowning incident last year. The work stress was only a sprinkle of addition to her almost delicate emotions. He feared of the moment she'd finally break down and shut herself, but Alina would never admitted that. She was very strong.

"You know what, screw this. Have Macey to do this stuff." he suggested only to be faced by Alina's refusals but he shushed her before she could continue them. "Macey is your friend but also your manager, it's a part of her profession. She has a good eye for this kind of stuff, believe me. She'll sort it out. You deserve a break." And she really did having walked throughout the New York fashion week for 15 shows. "Alright" the brunette finally agreed to her brother's terms and called her manager right away.

The siblings shared a close bond since having left for New York, leaving their parents at home in Boston to achieve something grand in life. Jeoff had been interested in being a singer earlier but realized that modelling worked better for him while for Alina, it was a thing she was passionate and sure about. Her first show had been for a small and new designer in the city but her dedication and passion paid off her efforts as she now walked for Victoria's Secret, Balmain, Gucci, Chanel, Versace and so many others. Nothing could've stopped her from achieving her limits making her the most desirable women among many male actors, singers and sports players. Like once during her one of her fashion walks when most models got skin breakout due to the bad makeup used, she used part of her earnings to make her own cosmetic brand, Maudes which has flourished and become a big makeup and skincare brand since then. She was a grateful achiever, very down-to-earth and kind just like the singer-songwriter who had also been present in New York for her music and songwriting.
