You touch me once and it's really something

Taylor and Alina were back to back playing movies on the large television screen inside the jet as they flew over the world in the skies. They were both full of boredom after the first eight hours on the flight. At first, the two were busy taking pictures for their Instagram posts and then started with a game of cards, but soon ditched it when Taylor won three times in a row. Then they started with a game of Pictionary with making the objects on their phones but they stopped for lunch. Then started a their movie marathon resulting into them being on the third film, a rom com.

"So he gets the girl finally. Nothing new." Taylor complained. "Yeah, but how is the question." "He stopped her wedding and they drew off together from her family and the wedding guests. It's cliché." "Well, you're the one who's watched all of these as a teenager. Wanna watch something else then?" "Not another movie, I'm bored." the singer grumbled and sank into her seat. "How about we drink something and have dinner?" Alina suggested. "Sure, dinner sounds nice. Also its almost night back in New York." Taylor agreed and sat straight in her chair while the model got up to walk to the minibar and make them drinks.

"What would you like to have?" she asked the singer. "Some red wine will be good." "Red wine coming up." the brunette said as she unscrewed a bottle and poured the maroon contents in a delicate wine glass which she then handed to Taylor. "Thanks." she said appreciatively. Alina went on make her drink, whiskey and some ice cubes, which she poured into a short and thick glass. Taylor observed how there were only two small ice cubes in the model's drink. The woman was definitely something. Alina went on to join the singer's side as she sat in front of her seat with a table separating them in the middle. "Cheers to the new album you'll be releasing soon." Alina said. "Cheers to our mini vacation in Fiji." Taylor added and the women clinked their glasses.

The drinks were helping with the boredom as the two women continued to giggle and snort in laughter over the mountain ranges documentary they had put on. Their words were slurred and utter gibberish, they made no sense but also so much of sense at the same time. The two women were now onto the floor of the jet as they rolled in laughter over the incidents they shared about their cats, Mel and Meredith. Even the pilot who had stepped out to use the restroom, found it quite amusing but they didn't give a shit about it and he respected their privacy too. It was like they were in their own bubble. They had created a mess of the entire place with small colorful paper planes flying around as they conversed.

"That poor thing!" Taylor said with a hand on her chest. "I know! And then Jeoff just kept her out the entire night in the baclcony, in cold." Alina continued with her story. "God, I wanna smack him so bad now." the blonde said with a laugh. "As much as he deserves that, my baby has it handled. She always scratches his legs whenever he's asleep." Taylor laughed at it whole heartedly as she sunk back onto the floor. "And whenever he complains I just show him this tattoo on my arm. See." Alina said as she discarded her jacket, showing the tattooed words on her upper arm that read- 'Karma is a cat'. "Wait, that is so clever. Karma is a cat... wow." the singer wondered aloud as she traced the inked words over the delicate medium tan hued skin of the model. Taylor was in awe of the woman, she was perfect in every way. She loved cats and even had one. She always knew the right words, she could achieve great things and still remain simple. But most importantly, she was real. Like a person who expressed happiness and sadness. Like a person who had a bright and a dark side. Like a person who is loving and also cold. She wasn't a dream, she was in fact in reality.

The blonde always wondered as a child, how the fireworks worked. To her, they were beautiful random speckles of colors that appeared in the sky on the time of New Years and Fourth of July. As a teen, she found them as a medium of connecting with family and friends to celebrate an occasion together. As an adult, she found them symbolic of blooming of feelings in her heart, just like the flowers did. She felt like that for Alina but was it meant to be fine? Could it have been possible for them? What if it was supposed to be a mistake? All the wild negative thoughts ran through her head.
