Right now I'm following Ratsuri as she is leading me to a room. After crying, she has now calmed down. We went towards the section of house where I never made my way. The she opened a door as we both entered a room.
It wasn't very big. A small square shaped room with three walls covered with books on bookshelf. There was a round table in the middle but no chair to sit on.
"I'm sorry Ayanokoji-kun, there's a lot if dust here. Nobody comes here other than me and I was also busy for some days so I didn't get the chance to clean up." There sure was a lot of dust here.
"It's alright, you are already helping me enough. By the way do you come here?" She mentioned she didn't get the chance to come meaning she visits this room sometimes. From the conversation with Akemi earlier, I got the impression that they aren't a fan of demon slayer.
"Yeah, oban-san doesn't like me getting interested in these stuffs but never stopped me. I never cause any trouble like a small sister after all hehe." She giggled as she searched for a certain book that she found quickly.
"This the book, Ayanokoji-kun. It will surely help you."
"I will take it then. Also, it might be a little too much too ask but can you tell me however much you know, hearing it will be better that reading it after all." I will also get to know how she views this.
"Uh, I don't really know a lot since it is very confusing but I'll tell know everything I know. As you know demons are inhuman species that survive by... consuming us. They can think and sometimes talk. And...all the demons were human once." She looked a little hesitant. I let her get her break.
"A lot of people don't know this but since I read that book, I know this. The origin of all the demons is.... Kibutsuji Muzan." Finally, someone else finally talked about him.
"He has existed for a long time and converted others into demon by giving them his blood. His blood carries a lot of power and an ordinary people it's nothing but a deadly poison but some strong people can endure that poison giving them the power and converting into a human eating demon. Over hundreds of years he has made a lot of demons. Some of them are on a whole another league. They are called Twelve moons. Out of these twelve demons, strongest six are called Upper moon and other six lower moon."
So basically He has a demon army of his own with twelve commanders. Strongest six being the upper moons.
"What is the power difference between lower and upper moon?" If they are called upper moon just because they are stronger that other six or they strong enough to be categorized differently, these are two different things.
"According to book it is thought that even if all six lower moons fight against upper moon six, they will still lose. Those of upper rank are exponentially a lot stronger than others." hmm, that clears a lot of things. Even though their number is large but quality deference is large. But still for a normal human, even a weak demon is out of league. She continued
"Now here's comes the demon slayer corps you want to join. It has existed for ages and hunts the demons and keep us safe. It is hidden from people and is not recognized by government. Well I think you know about that already. There are a lot of demon slayer who fight demons everyday and save us, but among them, some are just too powerful. You can even compare them to 12 moons or may be even stronger. They are called Hashiras. I don't know much about them but they are considered strongest demon slayers." So basically like moons but representative of humans. I wonder if Giyu is one of them.
"Do you know anything related to breathing?" I asked her this time.
"Yeah, I remember reading it. What was it again..... breathing techniques or.... total breathing or .....something like control.... breathing ..whatever! It was confusing so I don't remember well but it was something like a technique that gives us human super strength and power to fight for demons. It makes us stronger and helps us in defeating them. You can know about it more through this book." Looks like I'll have to tend towards this book to uncover the secret behind breathing technique.
