Chasing the cold Student Council President

JISOO

It's the day of our Sport fest and I am freakin' nervous as hell. I've been playing my whole life but still the nervousness gets me.

"You can do it, Jisoo! Our school trusts you. Bring home the bacon, okay? Goodluck!" Seulgi said tapping my shoulders. With her, I gain my confidence even just for a little bit.

The game started and I heard all the students from our university and from the other school that was cheering from both parties.

"Jisoo! Jisoo! Jisoo! Go, Jisoo! Go S.U!" I heard the crackheads together with Seulgi cheering at me. A lot of students cheered but definitely their voice echoed all over the gym.

Both of the teams were warming up and preparing for the game. Our Team also made a plan on how to win this, so we just need to stay focus. I went back to our spot first and drank my water when I noticed a paper on my bag.

"Goodluck!"

I know this handwriting. I roamed my eyes and spotted where Lisa is. She smiled at me and mouthed "goodluck". I smiled too. Now I feel alive and got more confidence because of Lisa. After how many days that she's been ignoring me, this is again the second time she smiled at me.

I went back to my team and the game finally started. We're all tired and sweaty as both scores were almost tied but our score is higher than them.

The other team was 45 and we're at 48. The time will almost end, it's our side that will gonna serve the ball. I exhaled deeply and focused on the game.

The other team got the ball and my teammate tossed it, I jumped and smashed the ball harder until the other team didn't get to caught it. As we heard the sound of buzzer, all the students from our university cheered. We won!!

After the game, we shake hands with the other team and we also congratulated team for a very good game.

"Woah! That was intense but y'all nailed it, Jisoo! Especially you, that smashed was hard, ey?" Seulgi said hugging me.

"Ya! I'm sweaty. Let go."

"Congratulations, our queen!" Bambam said.

"My loves! You're the MVP again!" It was Hanbin and he was about to hug me when Mino smacked him.

"My beloved, our MVP, I'm so proud of you!" It was Mino now and both Bambam and Hanbin smacked his head too.

We all laughed.

And our new coach called us to congratulate us with our trophy. We took a group photo and I was in the middle as I got the MVP again. Can't wait to tell this to my Dad.

"Hey. Jisoo, right?" The girl from the other team approached me.

"Uh, yeah. And you are?"

"I'm Ryujin, by the way. Congratulations for winning the game. It was a good game actually." I smiled.

"You all did a good job too. I enjoyed it."

"Well, uh, gotta go. I just want to congratulate you personally. See you around."

"Yeah, sure. See you."

Ryujin run back to her friends as she is waving back to me as well.

"Ohhh.. someone has a crush on you too, huh?" Seulgi said as she snudged my side.
