Ezra and Zuri were currently pestering the older girl to go swimming with her. She was supposed to be helping the Sullys swim better and she was sure Tsireya would chew her ear off for it if she ditched her.

"Pleaseeee! We never go swimming anymore!" Ezra pulls at her hand, tail slapping his sister who gasps, reaching up to grab his messy hair in retaliation.

"Watch where you swing that thing!" Zuri tugs him, getting him to release the girl by jumping on him, tackling him into the sand with a thud.

"Whose side are you on, Zuri?! I thought you wanted to go swimming too." Ezra uses his feet to kick the girl off of him, crawling to once again block Kanu's escape route.

"I do, please swim with us?" The older girl sighs, glancing at the marui she was supposed to meet her friend's at then back to her pleading siblings. Mentally weighing out the consequences if she relented.

"One hour, got it?" Her ears press back at their squeals, tipped off balance when they start dragging her to the water. Shaking her head, she jumps in after them. The two children already swimming further to the sand bed.

"Look, a clam." Zuri signs, pointing between some corals, eagerly swimming to the sand to scoop it up.

"Hand it to me." Kanu takes out her knife, gently cracking open a slit to fish out the small balls for the girl who waits excitedly to see the colour this time.

Zuri smiles, taking the two purple pearls, holding them up as light reflects off them before pocketing it in her pouch.

Ezra swims through a shallow opening, reaching down to grab a deep blue shell as Kanu reaches down for another clam, emptying the contents in her own pouch before placing it back to grow more.

Something catches her eye, the light reflecting off a green gemstone.

How did this get all the way up here?

She inspects the curved stone with interest, nodding her head as her train of thought takes her to a certain Na'vi.

This would complement his skin-

"Dad would like this wouldn't he?" Zuri swims to him, inspecting the spikey shell with a nod of approval while Kanu pockets her gem.

"What are you going to do with yours?" Ezra points to his sister's pouch making Zuri look away shyly, holding onto her pouch as Kanu swims to them.

"The forest girl?" Kanu smiles at her. She wanted to be friends with Tuk.

"Calm down would you." Ao'nung rolls his eyes at his sister's silent fuming. Her ears twitch in annoyance, smacking him with her tail while Rotxo tries to get them to stop hitting each other but it was pointless now that Tsireya was upset.

Neteyam, Lo'ak and Tuk where once again trying to swim, still struggling to stay under water for long periods of time. Tuk on Lo'ak's back resting in the water, not paying any mind to her brother's staring at the Metkayina girl while Kiri who seemed to be better at this than her siblings was off a little disnace away, hovering in the water and gazing at the sky.

A fish skims past his back, brushing his skin and sending a shiver down his spine at the unexpected touch. Looking back, he sees it swimming away.

He wonders what his grandmother was doing. How was she coping with all her remaining family fleeing? Were they safe? Is Spider alright? Did the sky people stop searching his home for them? He hoped they did.
