Chapter 1:The move

"Ma are we there yet?"I ask my mother. "Like another hour dear"she responds.i hum in response and turn to my cousin fred.
He already lives in Utah but he came and helped us with our move.
He came around a week before we were supposed to leave to help us pack and spend time with us before our move.We had an 8 hour flight and then a 2 hour drive just to get here.
"Fred im bored" you said,sounding like a demon. "I dont care now let me sleep" he snapped back. "Woah" you said sarcastically and chuckled. You decided to just go to sleep too.

Time skip to when you arrive at hurricane.

"Were here kids" your mum vigorously shakes you and fredrick awake.
He jumps up "what the hell?" You say laughing. You take a look at the house in front of you "wow, its amazing maybe even better than your house Fred" you smirked and nudged him in the stomach.
"Never in a million years could it look better than mine" he responded nudging you back. You frowned and scoffed,slapping his back in annoyance before walking away and into the house.
You quickly looked for the best room to claim it before your parents did.you find the one you want and yell "my room!" As your mum walks in.She frowns and says "damn i want this room" she giggled and left.
You then go outside to find fredrick and force him to bring your boxes in for you but to your surprise he's not there.you walk to your mum and ask where fredrick went.your mum tells you he went next door because his friend lives there.
You sigh in annoyance and pull out your crusty iPhone 6 to make a call. "Yellow you reached Fredrick" he said from the other side of the phone. "Fredrick get your ass down here and bring my boxes in for me" you screech threateningly.
"Okay okay i'll be right there" he breathes. You then went and grabbed your box with the most prized possessions that you didn't want anyone getting their hands on.
You went on into the house and to your room. You go to your mum to complete your daily 'annoy my mum' time.
you ran up to her from behind and hugged her from behind causing her to scream. She turns around and screams "D/N WHAT THE HELL" she says angrily.
her tone softens as she faces you "oh y/n whats the matter dear?". "Ma please buy me a new phone my iPhone 6 is holding on for dear life" you whine. "Glad you mentioned that" she smiles as she takes your hand and drags you into the room. She takes out a package from one of her boxes and hands it to you. As you take it you gasp.
It was an iPhone 12 although it wasn't the latest but you were still thankful.you hugged her then ran to your dad hugging him "thank you for the new phone" you screamed, running to your room.
fredrick was sitting in the room looking at your things.
your eyes widened as you saw him reach for your prized possessions box. You quickly slapped his hand away "ma firidrik aljahimu?" (what the hell fredrick)
He stood up quickly and stuttered "oh my bad i didn't realise you didn't want me going through your stuff". You sighed and started unpacking.

Nearly 2 hours later you're done with unpacking and decorating your room.
Fredrick was still with you so you decided to ask your mum if he could sleep over. "Ma can Fred sleep over??"
You said grinning as fredrick sat next to you giggling like a child.
"Normally i would say yes but tomorrow is a school day for both you and fredrick" you sighed "what do you mean for me ma?" You asked confused. "We signed you up for Fredrick's school and they want you starting tomorrow.
You scoffed and nodded, "can i at least take fredrick back to his apartment.Your mum smiled and nodded.
You and Fredrick skipped along the road, talking about how shit school is and finally after around a 5 minute walk you got there. "Alright then Bye Fred" you waved. He nodded and waved "bye n/n" you deadpanned and left.
You hated when people called you n/n it made you feel like a child,which technically you were but still. You made it home and had some dinner then went off to sleep
