I walk out of the house and to school listening to 'sacrifice' by the weeknd. I hum the tune as i sit down in my seat. After around 5 minutes i turn off my phone and face the board as all the students file into the classroom while the teacher starts speaking. "Alright students as we all know your end of year dance is coming up" she began speaking as the classroom roared with cheers. "Quiet down... anyways you will all have to follow a certain theme for the dance which is glam, decided by our lovely school council" she finished as everyone started murmuring. "We NEED to go shopping" Alissa whispered to me. I nod giggling as the teacher starts teaching her lesson. The day goes by as per usual and now im walking out of school with Alissa as we make our way to the local mall. We first stop at the boba shop and buy 2 taro milk teas. Then we made our way to the clothing stores looking at various dresses. We giggled and chatted as we pulled out various dresses from the clothing racks trying them on. After what seemed like hours of trying on different dresses we came to terms with the dresses we chose. We walked home now with slurpees in our hands as we chatted away. Soon we got to Alissa's house and i waved a goodbye to her, leaving for my own house. As i got there i see that there is someone waiting there for me. His back is turned, therefore im unable to see him. I inch closer to him, abruptly stopping and tapping on his shoulder. He turns around and smiles at me. "Michael!" I say smiling. "Y/n i didnt wanna make this too flashy but i just wanted to ask uhm do you wanna go to the dance with me?" He said looking to the ground holding out a big bouquet of flowers to me. I take the bouquets, enveloping him in a big hug. "I wouldn't dream of going to the dance with anyone else" i say grinning widely from ear to ear. He squeals like a child before speaking again "i gotta go eat dinner i'll text you later see ya" he waved as i looked at him lovingly i waved a goodbye and went inside.
(Time skip to the day of the dance)
Today was the day. Its time for the dance. I got up quickly and picked up my phone. I dialed a number and waited for the other line to pick up. Today was a day off, they were giving us a full day to prepare for the event, which of course was the dance. The other line finally picked up. "ALISSA" i scream into the phone "GET UR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW" i screech over the phone. "IM HERE" she screams as i end the call walking to my door. "Good timing" i wink as she walks in. "I know" she smirks as we walk to my room. "So makeup or hair first?" She asks. "Hair first obviously" i say. She nods and gets to work on my hair. After around 2 hours we're done with the hair.
