WORST MISTAKE

Chapter 1 Coming Back Home

It was about 4:30 in the morning. Willow woke up from her alarm clock going off, and of course she hit the snooze button. She always hated waking up early, waking up early never worked out for her. She was awaken again 15 minutes later from her dad coming into her room, ripping her blanket off of her. Willow jumps up yelling " IM UP IM UP" springing to her feet. Her dad gives her a straight face but look of  "yeah right" but with a mix of a disappointed look. Willow always hated when he parents look at her like that. "Get dressed we're leaving at 5" her dad said to her as he left her room and shut the door.

Willow looked down, at her feet. She hated this part of her life. She hated moving from place to place all because of her parents jobs, it was unfair to her. She walked over to her dresser that was only 4 feet tall. Her room was so much smaller compared to her one back in outerbanks. She could have at least 15 people sleep in her room if she wanted to. But the one in Kansas barely fit her. She picked up her outfit she left out on top of her dresser the night before and changed. She brought her suitcase down 3 flights of stairs, to the small living room on the first floor; behind the couch that was right by the front door with the other 4 suitcases. She than went back to the second floor to brush her teeth. The bathroom door was closed, willow knocked on the door her sister yelled through the door " hold on, damn"
Willow yelled back at her from the other side of the door "hurry up what take you so long in the bathroom, you have been in there for like five years" she scuffed. Alexis opened the door and said "I wouldn't take so long if you didn't hound me" as she walked past willow. Willow walked in to the bathroom slamming the door behind her. Her and her sister never got along they would always bicker and argue any change they get. It drove willow insane, knowing her sister was the favorite in the family. Jackson called from down stairs to Alexis and willow "Let's go, it's almost five". Of course Alexis was the first one to go down stairs as she was the "angel" of the family.

Willow walked down stairs, she took her time. She didn't care if they were late, it wasn't her problem. Everyone was already in the car, she walked outside locking the front door behind her. She made her way down to the back seats of the car, sitting on the passenger side. Willows eyes moved towards her sister there eyes met Alexis gave her a annoyed look as she quickly looked out the window; willow rolled her eyes and put her air pods in, as she unlocked her phone opening up spotify. She rested her head agitated the window as the song "freaks" ( by surf curse) played through her AirPods.

They had gotten to the airport. Willow's mom, sister, and her went inside the airport, willow watched her dad through the big windows give his car keys to a guy as the guy handed her dad an envelope. Willow knew her dad sold the car, as he dose that after every place they leave but outer banks. Her dad walked into the airport and they went to check in. After everyone was through they sat at the gate waiting for people to start boarding the plane. Once the plane started boarding everyone willow and her family was the first to board, her parents had brought first class tickets. Willow's parents sat in the front row as willow and Alexis sat in the row behind them. Willow was sitting in the window seat with her head phones in, she heard the pilot get on the speaker phone. She paused her music so she could listen, the pilot went on about the safety measures willow was about to hit play when the pilot said "This is a 9 hour and 15 minute flight from Kansas to outer banks, enjoy the flight". As willow heard this a smile appeared on her face knowing she was finally going home.

I HOPE THIS IS GOOD AS THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING A BOOK THIS STYLE. I DIDNT KNOW HOW FAR KANSAS WAS FROM OUTER BANKS, I LOOKED IT UP AND THE INTERNET SAID 9 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES. THATS WHAT I WENT WITH. I WILL DO MY BEST TO WRITE ANOTHER PART SOON.
